I would seriously doubt that is the mast that is giving you 800. If that's the view from your house it can't be surely?
That's not the view from my house, that's just the closest view I can get of that mast. I live a mile away.

I'd be impressed if there was a jailbreak for 9.2 already haha

Something has changed on 800 so it might be possible for data only devices to use 800 now (which the coverage checker has always claimed should be the case).

Anyone with a data only device (preferably one that the coverage checker says should work like an iPad Air) in an area with 800 but no 1800 able to check?

How are people finding the battery drain on the iPhone on 800 or in general on 9.2

japaul - My iPhone is switching to 800 even when there's 3g. Is there a way on it to confirm if the 4g800 is higher than 3G in priority?

In field test try looking at serving cell measurements>serving layer priority when you are on 800

Thanks, tried it. Is on 0. Blast. I think you mentioned before that it only looks at that when its idle so I wonder if there's some situation it could connect. It did turn once from 3G into 800 whilst I was looking but from then on it only goes to the signal of -120 when I airplane mode cycle, then it keeps it a while then goes back down to 3G. I have no idea haha.

Hi

With the iPhone 6/6S enabled on Three's 800Mhz Spectrum, can u now make one calls on 4G or will it fall back to 3G?

To confirm iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.2 Beta 4 r both the same build (13C75)

Thanks

Baz

It might not be reliable. Is that with a 6 or 6S? Make sure wifi is off. Do the other values in that screen (like measured RSSI or average RSRP) update every few seconds even with priority on 0? Also make sure the ARFCN is still showing 6175 when this happens.

Something not right for me on the update, when I put my Three sim into my 6s I'm only getting 3G, put the sim back into the 5s and I get 4G (the sim works for VoLTE as I often use it in a Galaxy S5).

I've tried the enable 4G toggle as Voice and Data and Data only, it's been in the phone for over 15 minutes, rebooted, checked it's on 23.1.

Not a huge problem as I use the 6s with my EE sim, but still puzzling.

On 9.2 with latest carrier update now in super voice area classed as "excellent" and go from 1 bar 3G to no service.

Phoned three and they said they had done work on the mast a few days ago and coverage should get better on 11th.... Not sure how that works???

The coverage map has shown super voice being excellent for ages now.

Not good. Back to the home signal box. If only EE offered an equivalent plan.

Do you have a compatible handset and is it from Three, as it needs their firmware.

Pretty sure they have an iPhone as they say 9.2. iPhone can be bought from anywhere.

It's an iPhone if it's on 9.2...

Class 101 for iPhone compatibility?

It isn't 15h though is it, which is when they said iPhones would be enabled. They are still on the "coming soon" list as per

http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/network/4G-Supervoice

Other handsets are ready for VoLTE, but not iPhone, yet.

Remember VoLTE is only enabled on 800 on Three. That could be why.

Without getting into an argument, but you know as little as anyone else, maybe don't post as if you are the official Three representative?

With regard to Supervoice, it's now showing as available for iPhones on the coverage checker.

Ahh good point, and thanks I didn't know it had gone live tonight. It may take a little bit of time for Three to tweak things. I think I read somewhere that they were aware of some initial issues which they are working on fixing.
