Pretty sure they have an iPhone as they say 9.2. iPhone can be bought from anywhere.

Well it didn't take me long to not be happy
. I should have loads of indoor and outdoor 800 on my journey home and crucially in my home town. Apart from a few seconds of 800 (confirmed by Field Test Mode) I've had nothing. What disappoints me most is that my home town has had (according to the Three Coverage map) really good indoor and outdoor 800 coverage. My phone is a 6S Plus so I tried my wife's 6 and no luck there either. So this leaves me with no confidence for the rest of the places where I should get 800 4G. Most of my non-work locations are bathed in 800 but if tonight's experience is anything to go by I'll be disappointed. So I called Three who advised me to give it 48 hours! Also they want me to wait for the work happening the day after tomorrow on my nearest mast. Yes, I'll wait and see how we go but there's always a wait, there's always a tomorrow. I really thought this update would take Three from a very poor 4G network (compared to EE and Vodafone in my experience) to a network I would stick with given how much data I use (I need AYCE). But so far, that's not the case. |

I've said this before, don't believe the coverage checker. Three have acknowledged to me that is is wrong.

It isn't 15h though is it, which is when they said iPhones would be enabled. They are still on the "coming soon" list as per
http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/network/4G-Supervoice Other handsets are ready for VoLTE, but not iPhone, yet. |

It might not be reliable. Is that with a 6 or 6S? Make sure wifi is off. Do the other values in that screen (like measured RSSI or average RSRP) update every few seconds even with priority on 0? Also make sure the ARFCN is still showing 6175 when this happens.

Despite me usually getting 4G okay I'm now getting 800 after the carrier update. Call setup is instant with volte.

Without getting into an argument, but you know as little as anyone else, maybe don't post as if you are the official Three representative?
With regard to Supervoice, it's now showing as available for iPhones on the coverage checker. http://s19.postimg.org/dod9t605v/image.jpg Hey Thine, don't worry..... I'm wrong all the time..... got used to it now....... Hahahahahahahahahaha Merry Christmas!!!! |

Yeah, but where would this forum be without me eh?
Hahahahahahahaha Hey and come on.... I called iOS 9.2 almost right on target. No one believed me... This is a well educated guess if ever there was one, at 3:37 today ......... http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...postcount=6584 It's even enabled VoLTE on EE (which I also predicted) although EE aren't allowing it yet. I take your post as a compliment as I'm sure it was meant!

Give them a chance, it's not even 5 hours into the process, I would be extremely surprised if there aren't teething problems before it works properly.

No, sorry, Three are months in. "Super Voice" went live newly three months ago and before that there was a testing programme operated by Three employees. This also is the thing that's supposed to launch them to 95% 4G coverage in the next three weeks. A big company doesn't bring something to market without it being ready.

So been having some feedback from friends about supervoice. Average speed is about 3mbps, but still a massive improvement over nothing.
One of them is also going to do some tests in areas with Orange 2G fallback and 800MHz to see how it works, so I hope to feedback on that soon. |

So on this iphone update is 800 still set as the lowest priority requiring going somewhere you get no other signal to get it?

Most big companies don't, but Three seem to think beta testing is what you do with paying customers...

Yeah let us know how it goes.
By the way, you will have to turn the home signal box off as 3G is prioritised higher than 800. You will also need to be somewhere there is no 3G or 4G1800 signal whatsoever to get 800.

I think it's pretty clear that Three are just wasting time until they have O2's network.

I suppose the cheaper prices justify that in some way although "normal" users wouldn't know what the hell was going on so I'm not sure that's a good angle. One thing is certain.... Mr Tom Bennett (director of services and devices) is not going to allow us to use 800 or VoLTE until it works as expected. I suspect this is as we on here are expecting it to work. 1. Voice over 2600, 1800 and 800 with DCR lower than current 2G/3G. 2. Proper call hand-over between 2G/3G and 4G in both directions that actually works with no "no service" moments in between. (SRVCC and reverse SRVCC working as expected). That's it. Simple. Two points. Point two is a magnitude harder than point one. We ain't getting it till it works... period! I like that.... Top bloke!

You still haven't run naked across the field where the mast is, have you? Bookey is going to switch your 4G off..
![]() I might wait till March when they put the fibre in and the 30/40Mbps cap is lifted. It's all on roadworks.org and everything. I'll have to run through what was once (2013, 35 Acres) the UK's biggest solar farm and past a massive wind turbine... Will anything get cut off??? |

Something has changed on 800 so it might be possible for data only devices to use 800 now (which the coverage checker has always claimed should be the case).
Anyone with a data only device (preferably one that the coverage checker says should work like an iPad Air) in an area with 800 but no 1800 able to check? |

Devon, Three are so good at this that the last update has removed all 4G from my 6s if I put a Three sim into it
.Put the Three sim in a 5s, it has 4G, put my EE sim back into my 6s it has 4G, put the Three sim back into the 6s, only 3G. So it's a Three cock-up. Luckily I don't rely on using Three in my 6s .
