That's the latest H81510E KDZ with a kernel dated Sept 7th. Strange thing is I can't find any IMS settings in the ROM, don't know if they will suddenly populate tomorrow or there's some sort of issue.
Does anyone have a copy of this KDZ, or a working link? Or even the 10g version.

None of the H3G/HUK KDZs are available at any of the lg sites, but other KDZ work fine.

Changing the subject slightly...

Does anyone know where all of the Three-only 3G masts are? I know there's a couple in my area.

Also, does anyone know if these Three-only masts are likely to be MBNLed?

Greatly appreciated!

Don't hope for it too soon - battery life on the non branded G4 with MM is awful at the moment (and that's why I'm after this Lollipop KDZ)

The S6 Edge has had a 3 UK firmware update today.

The two arrows on their side are no more, so I don't know when I am connected to 800.
I was sent two configuration settings by 3 also, one for text and one for MMS.
This is unusual, as I don't ever recall being sent configuration settings in my 5 years with 3.

Previously with O2 yes, but never 3.

same, I have also noticed that the VoLTE selection is missing from call settings and that you can't force it on to 4G 800 (only 4G in my area) like you could before...VoLTE must be forced on so you can't turn it off

Some of those new (red) coverage areas are hardly more than a dot - maybe a mile wide, very strange.

Today I have terminated by Three contract. I will be going to pay as you go but I do not consider Three worth the £23 a month for unlimited data when I cannot use the network properly.

Am I the only one still paying <£15pm for unlimited everything?
(Tethering cap in place)

I'm still on the One Plan from years ago, no letter or call yet. I'll happily move off to a 12GB tethering plan and pay more when they contact me, but for now I'm happy.

I called them the other day to ask for a micro sim to be posted out for my new handset and the guy tried to get me onto a new plan then, but I said I was happy with what I'm on and I knew that I'd likely be moved off at some point. My average data usage about 6GB, sometimes a lot less sometimes more.

I explained that I appreciate that even though I typically don't get near the 12GB even as a total of data used + tethering, that I want the flexibility just in case I'm away from home or my home internet is down to be able to use it a bit more than normal. He understood that and left me on the One Plan for now, a text message came through saying we'd discussed it and that there would be no change to the contract for now.

Lots seems to be going on (like last September). I've got network improvements on the 13th in three places I use my phone in and then network improvements in another area I use the day after. Maybe Three are spending all their 16/17 money quickly or they use it next financial year (bit like the councils sometimes do). Or they are just ramping up as they are increasingly getting left behind. Thanks for these map updates BTW - fascinating stuff.

I have an unbranded G4 & after update to MM the battery life was awful-I sorted it with a factory reset & it fine now.
Hope it helps you

Yeah, as usual, not sure the coverage is totally accurate, or (my speculation) they are running at lower power so not to overload them until more masts around get activated around them.

For example Ofcom's sitefinder says Three's antenna's are at 23meters, assuming they haven't moved them, in Goole (East Riding) town center, yet the coverage map only shows 1800 with a ~1.5miles diameter.
Back at Christmas I was in my mum's house ~600meters outside the coverage area that's currently shown but I could still get 4G at 1-2bars with ~2Mbps down.

A friend often works in an area with very poor 3G but 4G800 and he's saying the 800 has gone from about 5mbps to barely throughput.

I got that on the Three Ireland firmwared S6 Edge. That configuration update enabled 800MHz 4G because on the way home from work G-NetTrack Lite reported a 4G mast with a cell ID of 6.

I've since flashed the new H3G (UK) firmware with 800MHz 4G intact.

Well it's "network improvement" day where I live. I've got the bunting out and champagne on ice...... just looking for a little 4G love (NOT 800!).
