Are you sure it's not just roaming on to Vodafone in limited service mode for emergency calls? Some phones will give cell id data for the limited service network.

The Moto G 3rd gen is not on the list at all, so I think it's time for the microwave again!

You're right, G-NetTrack is showing the MNC changing to 15 which is Vodafone, and sometimes to 10 (O2).

edit: I've just found your thread about CellIDs and 10 isn't even one of Three's Band 20 anyway (6,7, and 8) so it couldn't have been them I was connecting to. Clearly that was Vodafone as they use 10, 20, and 30.

It seems odd that the phone doesn't mention it can make emergency calls when it does that, except in the lock-screen. There must be a setting somewhere for a notification, I'll have a look.

I have a Motorola X Force. I can't find anything about it supporting VoLTE. But I can't believe it doesn't being their newest 'premium' phone. Nothing on Three's website about it being listed as compatible either. Does anyone know? I am due to have some work done in my area on the 19th but am not sure what for. Do I have to do anything special to my phone to be able to get it? I have Marshmallow 6.0 on it and purchased it SIM free from Carphone Warehouse on a deal.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I'd hope they eventually support all handsets with the 800 band (the VoLTE isn't that vital to me).

Me too LG v10, not even listed on their website as it hasn't really been sold in the UK. Went to the trouble of getting one from Germany that supported 800 and 1800Mhz LTE too! thinking ThreeinTouch wouldn't care which handset, I was wrong again!

Visiting London atm, I'm finding that sometimes in central London, if you airplane mode then off again, I'll be put on 800MHz. Confirmed with Field Test mode and also calls work on it Weird that it doesn't seem to be low priority when first connecting, in London anyway? Everywhere else it only goes on when 3G is lost, as we'd expect.

Have to say, I took a ferry out to sea a few days ago, if it weren't for 800MHz I'd have lost signal way before I actually did. I turned off 4G Voice & Data when quite far out, and had no service. Turned it back on, 3 bars 800MHz

A lift is one place where I would not expect there to be much if any signal. Most of them are essentially a metal box after all

Well, with 3 intouch installed on my sim-free Z3 Compact, I'm still unable to get a sniff of 4g (or 3g) in the Ford Madox Brown in Manchester... came here and saw Three had removed TINT800 from my device, so I've countered with uninstalling 3 intouch.

To be fair, the voice quality on wifi was awful anyway: sat in the same room as the router it was breaking up with lots of jitter and delay. It's a 100mbit symmetric Hyperoptic connection, so I'd struggle to believe it's that!

In fairness there are two. Managed to ring the wife yesterday from M&S Food where there used to be no signal. Two counts as full country coverage right because my shopping experience had been #MadeRight as Three PR might say.

That can happen. I used to spend a lot of time in Reading town centre, where the 3G was utter pants, but the 4G (where you could get a signal) was very fast and usable. That was early days though, while 3 was still enabling 4G in batches of SIMs and lots of people didn't necessarily have compatible phones.

Though it's not going to happen in those areas that only have 4G 800 because it's so low down in the priority list - I'd guess/hope that 3 has 1800MHz 4G in those places with rampant congestion.

I don't know if 3 does/can/plans to kick people back down to 3G in areas where the 4G is congested, similar to how Vodafone and O2 love to put people on 2G while they're on the phone

I don't know but where I live I'm regularly getting 30mbps download speed over 3G, which is pretty incredible. Ironically I don't need it when I'm at home though

I have also found the same with the quality of the calls, though i'm on Sky FTTC.

I was hoping TINT would work as quite regularly i have no signal at home nor my place of work, which sucks, just like TINT currently does...

A ~10m segment of corridor at my gym now gets VoLTE ... Now have coverage for an extra 10s or so. Fantastic ...

Something weird happened today, usually no LTE signal inside but today four cells, according to LTE discovery app anyway. Low power -100dBm but consistent.

4G is finally making its way to Lancaster!
I'm getting it almost everywhere now (except for inside of my house -_-).

Ah, I thought this day would never come. Lancaster was on the list for 2014 and then removed from it.

P.S. The 4G map coverage on their website is not up to date for Lancaster.
