Yep as I said they were randomly chosen, no NDA.

I too have done the trial before

Well I guess they said it will launch March, so maybe it'll be right up to March 31st until they push it out on the Play store, or maybe when they said March they were referring to the Beta.

I'll be happy when they push the rollout button assuming it works on all non Three firmware Android phones and doesn't require you to be on certain models.

Does this new My3 app actually behave as an app, rather than as a glorified web browser?

Haha, yeah I never bothered with the MyThree app as it was crap, just like a web page as you say.

Well my Three LG G4 is now bootlooping so to test out the network I'll have to get another one. Rather annoying.

LG will fix it for free:

Anyone have any extra info on native wifi calling? I asked on the three blog and got this reply "Hey Sammy, we’re working on this at the moment and hope to release it in the near future. Unfortunately, we don’t have any dates on this at the moment. >Danielle"

I'm not on an NDA as I was chosen randomly (I think), but as far as I can see the beta participation is linked to my account, so ripping the app isn't going to help.

Sorry!
Does v5.1.8 of the TinT app which you are using actually say anything about it being a restricted beta test? I know that only beta-testers can obtain it directly from Google Play, but that doesn't necessarily mean that version of the app (v5.1.8) which you have cares about who is running it, only who can obtain it from the official beta test on the Play Store.

Given that there are no NDA or other restrictions, the worst case scenario from uploading it for anyone interested to try is that it fails a Three verification beta-test check and spits out an error message for people who are not registered in the beta test.

If someone fancies emailing the .apk as an attachment (preferably in a .zip or .rar or whatever) to pnzgaz2@gmail.com, I'll stick it on my FTP server and post a direct link in this thread for anyone to download from it.

That's a nice idea. Hopefully it'll be out in a couple of weeks too. I suppose that depends on if any issues are found.

Thanks to someone, I've got hold of a copy of Three inTouch v5.1.8, but unfortunately it doesn't work on my device (Samsung S4 Mini running CM12.1). When I hit the Activate button, it keeps coming up with "Enable mobile data: Provisioning must go through mobile data connection. You must enable mobile data.". No amount of turning on or off mobile data or wifi seems to get past that message.

If anyone else fancies a try, this link should work (I ZIPped the apk which I received by email so as to preserve the original apk filename, whilst making the URL easier):
ftp://publicublic@princegaz.no-ip.biz/public/Three_inTouch_v5.1.8.zip
not sure how to disable smilies, but the link is fine

Thanks again to the uploader.

Cheers, it installs registers just fine on my Nexus 6 (running android N preview) but no luck with any hint of 800 when forced to 4G only and moved to lose the signal.

Same "restricted access changed, voice service is blocked" and it won't let you on 800 even with this APK installed.

Seems to be working for me too. I've noticed that the native android dialer won't work, though - you have to dial through the intouch app (and it's the intouch app that rings if you get an incoming call). Don't know if that's a bug or intentional, but on wifi intouch manages to take over

I had no errors come up or anything. Pretty good 4G signal indoors (which I assume is 800)

It seems if you have supported device like an LG G4 or something then it works, but my LG V10, despite supporting 800Mhz will not be allowed on it.

I tried selecting 4G only and got 1800Mhz, then forcing band 20, but no, it refuses to let me on even with the new app. I am in a 800Mhz area as the map shows I'm well within it and I get 1800Mhz 4G (1 bar).

I don't have any 1800MHz at all where I live so I don't know if that's a factor.

I notice that if you move back into a 3G area (or in my case, change it back to the normal network selection) then it continues the call as if it were "VoHSPA"

It works on the unbranded LG G3, and I'm able to make 4G calls, but not on the LG V10. That indicates to me that there may still be device restrictions when it goes live, which is a shame

Yeah, that's where I get stuck on my S4 Mini. The Activate button keeps taking me to Mobile Data settings but nothing I change fixes it. I've also tried the *#*#4636#*#* and tried changing IMS settings there, though I've found I can't disable the VOLTE PROVISIONING setting. Maybe a problem with the ROM or kernel I'm using?

I am on official Marshmallow 6.0.1.
I also tried the official version before this beta and it still fails at provisioning so I'm at a loss :/

I tried the beta app in my Moto G 4G (first gen) running CynaogenMod 13 Nightly (android 6.0.1) and it setup/registered fine, it then asked me to reboot my phone and after that it could connect to 800 (cell ID 8) when forced to LTE only. However the intouch app force closes when trying to open it but the notification does show '4G calling ready'. I couldn't test calling since I can't open the app.

I've since uninstalled the app on my Moto G and it seems the 800 data connection remains and works (7.2down, 1.7up), but definitely no means of testing calling now.
Gnet track screenshot from Moto G: http://gdurl.com/lsBF

Even more interesting, having put my Three SIM back into my Nexus 6 I seem to still be able to connect to 800 on that now too, I think... the eNBI and TAC numbers (7565/5057) are the same on there as they were for cell ID 8 on my Moto G - can anyone with more technical knowledge confirm or not that as these are the same values that the same frequency/cell ID would be used?
I do get similar download/upload speeds as on my Moto G.
Gnet track doesn't seem to show the connection for some reason (shows dashes rather than the actual value) however Network Signal Info on my Nexus 6 does show the values: http://gdurl.com/pMIR

Edit: toggling to non-LTE only and back again seems to help gnet track register better and does show cell ID 8 http://gdurl.com/H01H but not sure whats going on with the Qual column!

I installed the app on my HTC A9. It provisions and works well on WiFi but it looks like I have no 4G 800 in my area as it doesn't seem to connect to LTE at all.

I wouldn't worry too much yet, I couldn't get Three inTouch to work over 800 on a LG G4 or Moto X 2014, but it enabled on the Chinese version of a OnePlus 2 which doesn't support 800MHz at all.

So hopefully the device restrictions or whatever else is causing it is temporary.
