Thanks also Gavin. If EEs 800 is anything like that, the inbuilding coverage increase will be a nice compliment to their 4G1800.

What has happened to 3's 4G data speeds recently? Seems to be capped out at 30Mbps D/L ?, Anyone else experiencing this too?

I did max out at 60 download once while standing meters away from one of their masts. |

Seems fine in Kent, 43mb down and 20mb odd up, it is early in the day, if there are restrictions perhaps they happen at peak times.

Could it be related to usage? I'm quite a heavy user, usually at around 30-40GB each month.

I've never seen anything above 25mbps regardless of my location.
I'm not too worried as long as I can carry out the tasks that I require, which 90% of the time I can. |

My Local mast, when I have solid signal tops at around 87mbps download and 30mbps upload. I did a speedtest earlier with only half the signal bars and it peaked at 34 but eventually settled at around 30 download and 7.2 upload. I will test it again tomorrow

Have enjoyed 800MHz and VoLTE in Stonehaven and Westhill lately (both in buildings where I previously got no 3G at all). Now it'd just be nice for Three to extend their 4G network westwards a bit to some of the smaller Aberdeenshire towns and villages! O2 and Vodafone appear to have been activating some rural 4G out here (both barely offered 3G previously), so hopefully Three won't get left behind.

I like the little red dot for Aberystwyth in a sea of black!
Three are going to have to try a damn sight better than that in Wales if they wish to meet the 90% coverage target.

Great News! Please could you make the download available for non-Three LG G4 users? It only shows the open Europe firmware in LG bridge for me which doesn't keep the VoLTE settings. It does connect to 800MHz LTE though.
Thanks in advance. ![]() EDIT: As promised, the Three branded LG G4 Marshmallow KDZ. http://bensdedi.net/H81520h_00_0516.kdz |
