I have an iPhone SE and would be quite irritated if 3 only enables wifi calling on the iPhone 7, unless there is some solid technical reason for it. Given my wife uses wifi calling on EE on her SE, I don't see what reason there would be to restrict it!

VoLTE over 1800MHz would also be nice to have. It certainly works OK on 800MHz in my experience.

EE's wifi calling works all the way from the iPhone 5c through to the 7 Plus. Vodafone however only works from the 6s to 7 Plus.

So Three could go either way!

Something interesting I have noticed, my local mast has been "vandalised" taking out the power to it. There's frequent issues with this mast unfortunately.

However today I've noticed that my phone was connecting to 4G 800Mhz over 3G. I was quite surprised by this. This certainly isn't the norm so I wonder if this has been changed on some sites where it makes sense.

I still notice this too in some areas; the phone will connect to 4G800 in preference to what's actually a usable 3G2100 signal, albeit a slightly weak one.

One question: can the cell reselection priorities be adjusted on an area by area basis? Or are they set network-wide?

Where I live my phone always chooses 4G over 3G on 3.
