Nice animal thread
There's been a bit of doom and gloom lately with regards to animals on this forum, and so I thought I'd start a nice and positive thread for our furry or not so furry friends.

Hello! I have a really lovely, beautiful and friendly animal, her name is Chloé and she is a British marbled shorthair cat!

She's lovely. Sorry, Keyser_Soze1, but I can't say the same about the beetle.

I just found out there is a big cat sancutary in Tenterden, which isn't far from me so I know where I'll be going for a visit soon!

That's more like it. Lovely pictures, especially the first one.
![]() They could so easily kill a dog with one swipe of their paw - but they enjoy playing with their canine friends instead. There is tons about it on the net.

![]() She said that our cat-flap would have to be seriously enlarged, and the spring relaxed in case the snow leopard's tail got caught in it. |

Ducklings and kittens float my boat when it comes to cuteness. I'll see if I can find some YT vids.

I've been there, some beautiful pussycats in there, I suggested to my wife that we steal a snow leopard.

I suppose this is more about the humans than the animals but it's still quite heart-warming.........Brazilians rally to save beached dolphins and drag them back out to sea.....

My pup who I rescued from Cyprus. She was abandoned in a pound as a tiny pup after being thrown over the wall ![]() She's gorgeous! Here's one of my rescue cats - she's deaf and brain damaged and if she were human, she'd have gained several ASBOs by now. Her name is Weeble (because her brain damage makes her wobble) but she's also known as the Ginger Ninja or Naughty Torty. There are other names, but they're not polite... ![]() http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...s/DSCF0045.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h.../purrlates.jpg |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHy6bBKu0j4 That has to be one of the cutest and hilarious (by the ducklings) vids ever, but they all made it in the end uninjured, which is good. So, cute. I love how baby ducklings follow their mothers everywhere.
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ma...w=1366&bih=648 I've also seen a Cirl Bunting. You'll be unlikely to see one anywhere in the UK unless you've been to south Devon. They are very rare in the UK. http://www.rspb.org.uk/discoverandenjoynature/discoverandlearn/birdguide/name/c/cirlbunting My favourite member of the crow family is the (European) Jay. http://www.rspb.org.uk/discoveranden...jay/index.aspx |
