Thank you. She really is quite striking for a mongrel and she is super photogenic. She's a German Shorthaired Pointer crossed with a Jura Hound. They were actually going to put her to sleep at the pound when she was just a few weeks old - because they thought she was some kind of banned breed

Luckily a woman from a dog rescue charity paid for a DNA test for her.
She is stunning, my girls the same, a mongrel but I've lost count of the amount of times someone has stopped me to tell me how beautiful/pretty she is.

That was lucky you were able to do that, what a lovely story that puppy was lucky to find you.

Good boy

This came up on my facebook page the other day.

Not sure you should keep this type of animal as pets, but very cute all the same!

The trade in the Slow Loris is absolutely horrific as is the cruelty involved to the poor creatures - don't be fooled by the cute videos and read some of these links.

It doesn't surprise me - I did feel guilty posting it - the sharing of videos showing how cute some animals can be obviously doesn't help in stopping the trade in all these poor creatures.

I won't do it in future - thanks for giving me a virtual slap Keyser!

You are welcome.

I just wanted people to know about how cruel the trade in these little primates is.

They pull their teeth out?! That's f***ed up. I hate it when animals are victims of silly fads. A few years ago it was "micro" pigs that were the must have pet - and so many ended up dumped and dead when they ceased to be small and cute. Even dogs are victims of this inexplicable need for everything to be tiny and deformed. My sister had this miniscule little wrinkled thing that shivered constantly and couldn't even breathe properly - he collapsed died a few days ago at 3 years old. Why are people breeding dogs that struggle to live?

I almost forgot this was the nice animal thread. Sorry for the depressing rant. One of my daughters personal favourite videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIVq6gbyfD4

My pup who I rescued from Cyprus. She was abandoned in a pound as a tiny pup after being thrown over the wall

She's gorgeous - she has incredible markings. I love her eyepatch.

Chito and his best friend Pocho (RIP) - the 5.2 metre American crocodile - always deserve a place on a thread like this.

They had a totally unique relationship based on mutual trust and respect.
