Post Office Mobile (EE) 12th June
Post Office are launching its mobile service on 12th June. They are using EE's network and from what I've seen the prices are quite good.
Once launched you can pick up a free Sim Card from most branches subject to a min £5 top up. 8p calls, 8p texts, 10p mb data... There's about 5 bundles you can buy ranging from £5 - £20 per month... Can't quite remember the details but the £5 bundle gives you 200 mins, 500 texts and 500mb of data. The £20 bundle will get you 5gb of data and 1000 minutes ( can't remember the text allowance) Also if you top up £5 you get £5 free, top up £10 you get £10 free and so one. I'm hoping the data is 4G because we get good coverage with EE. |

If they get the pitch right they have the perfect target market and brand identity to have a successful niche.
You would expect most of their customers to be really love users, more calls than anything. Of course if they go cheap on data could attract a whole new customer - a smart pitch could be going really cheap but only if you top up in a post office..pull them in and try and upsell. |
