No, they don't know each other personally they know of each other and I think they've met briefly before. She knows what it means but he was trying to imply that she's thick as she doesn't know the actual meaning, but she shut him down and told him what it meant and she was right

I've said that here. Marriage wouldn't or shouldn't make an iota of difference. She just latched on to the term thinking it would make her more interesting or esoteric.

What show was this? If it was Tallafornia (which Marc was on), Jade wasn't on that show, as far as I remember.

I thought there were some comments of how they know of each other. But not on a personal level. Just that her boyfriend (according to Marc)/ex-boyfriend (according to Jade) doesn't like Marc.
