I agree that Marc should not see Danny as a friend. Danny looks to be two-faced. I hope Marc's only being civil towards him while they're in the house.

First time ever, I actually agree with the OP.

Yes I heard that. Brian is the alpha male of that clique, Christian and Danny are the wingmen.

Jack, Cristian and Danny, looks like the fake Chloe won't be nominated.

This is true when Brian said that I wondered if BB had said something to him perhaps in the diaryroom, whilst Brian was probably screaming and crying, I hate him I hate him, what a fake, all of a sudden they are all talking to Marc,Danny is no friend of Marc all he has ever done is bitch about him to the others behind his back,I think Danny saw Marc as a possible winner and he thinks he is going to win,he is playing a good game getting all the HMS on his side,he has a dark side and very shifty IMO I dont like him, with Marc what you see is what you get love him or hate him.

Think he likes him as more than a friend...

Seems to get very close to Danny, occasionally humping him an laying on top of him.

Or is that just Dublin banter specially reserved for men

I think he is envisioning it more as an outside world friendship, he could see them having a drink together...

What odds - at least Marc's a good job lined up when it's over.

Most of the rest go back to being dolites or whatever other ex-BB members get up to. I doubt Nikki or Brian have jobs, or Helen.

What are you on about? Did you watch the night Marq entered, Danny had a go at him them...so it would matter a jot if Brian was bezzie mates with Marq.

So you are basically saying Marq is weak. lols

Marc's been really naive when it comes to his 'friendships'. IMO they were steamrollered by his, erm, 'unique' form of bonding, as if Marc decided they were friends and set the rules. Once he'd gone they must have breathed a sigh of relief, like you would if you had a pet rottweiler that went to stay in a kennels after spending two weeks knocking you over with attentive licks one minute then trying to chew your throat out the next.

It was a big mistake of Marc to come back in and expect to pick up where he left off but now armed with power over them. I don't like Cristian but who needs enemies when your friend calls you "boring as ****"? That's not friendly banter. It's frenemy banter.

OP Marc has said repeatedly he's not there to make friends. He is a user, plain and simple.

He came back into the house and immediately went on a whispering campaign to try and build up his own clique. He told Joel (and then Danny) that Jack wasn't liked and told Joel and Nick they're potential winners, causing politician Joel and Nick to both jump ship.

Danny noticed this and mentioned it to BB in the diary room. The balance of power was now in Marc's favour. Back in the house, now as Helen's sidekick, with Nikki initially on side, Simon and Sam in his corner, and Joel and Nick (initially) also jumping ship to his side, he promised to break up the clique

He claimed to hate brown-nosers but was happy to have Helen, Simon, Joel and Nick behaving like that with him.

He openly declared his intention to target the group of friends or allies in the house that he called the clique which included Danny, but then he throws his toys out of the pram when in return they nominated his own "friend". Then the next minute he will say he's not there to make friends, which proves he's just using people for his own ends. He doesn't see potential allies as friends, but rather as pawns in his game.

He constantly tells Cristian and Danny he is their friend, when in fact he has a low opinion of Cristian and thinks Danny is a game player. This was confirmed by his open declaration to target the clique, and in the "Get Your Own Back" task at the end of the week when Marc said "I think Cristian is boring because until he was nominated he had the personality of a cornflake" and "I think Danny is a game player because he sits on the fence." He said that again recently in the diary room "I think Danny is a massive game player" while complaining that "they're nominating my friends," which again shows he doesn't see these 2 guys as his friends, contrary to what he tries to make them think.

He constantly insults, provokes, and tries to mock Cristian while claiming to be his friend, and then the next minute he will again say he's not there to make friends.

He claimed he saved Cristian because he is his friend when in fact he nominated him in last Wednesday's highlight show. Brian was right when he said Marc nominated Cristian. When the four were called in to nominate in the diary room, Marc said "I want to do some more horrible things, I want to! I enjoy it." while Helen replied "I do too." Helen then chose Cristian and said "he is about as interesting as a piece of malt loaf." Brian defended him and argued that he's coming out of his shell and chose Sam, but Helen and Marc both disagreed and went for nominating Cristian, persuading Nikki (who initially chose Jack) to eventually take their side. Marc then nominated Cristian.

He was given good advice by Victor, yet somehow misinterpreted what was said and went running straight to Helen telling tales. He wrongly told Helen that Vic made out to HMs that she was "saying things or doing things behind Marc and other HMs backs" which caused her to accuse Victor of "lies" and call him "cokehead." Helen eventually admitted in the bedroom chat with Danny that she doesn't even know Victor personally! And yet, it could be argued she had been "saying things" behind HMs backs like mocking and bitching about Cristian. It totally went over Marc's head that the reason he was voted into the bunker was because his original persona was working initially, Vic just told him to go back to being that way, rather than being henchman to "her over there" but being the simpleton he is Marc failed to understand or make any good use of what he was being told.

He had all that power last week, with the 6 other HMs mentioned earlier (Helen, Nikki, Simon, Sam, Joel, Nick) for a while seemingly all aboard his new clique, with this numbers advantage at hand he promised to target the clique, yet ended up getting Jade evicted instead. lol Idiot. Both him and Helen got drunk on power, became arrogant and thought it was a given Harry or Cristian would go.

He tried to be a player and got played in return, at his own game. He was happy to insult, provoke and mock Cristian (who at 20 is much younger, yet seems far more perceptive than him) and the minute he fights back and starts out-manoeuvring him, 29 yr old Marc runs off crying to BB about how they're nominating my "friends." lol His pawns more like. Next day he starts playing the victim.

He tried with his sidekick Helen, to manipulate Sam into nominating who HE wanted up, then shunned her when she failed to do what he wanted.

BB fixing it constantly to ensure he can't be nominated or properly evicted for 4 weeks running means the guy has had a lot in is favour and yet still keeps contriving to mess it all up, while showing himself to be a massive hypocrite. He appears to have an invisible pass to the final.

So NO Marc does not think Danny is his friend at all, he has said himself he's not there to make friends, and has said more than once he thinks Danny is a massive game player. He's a user and hypocrite who is guilty of all the things he accuses others of and more besides.

WOW good post. I agree with most except I think that Marc does want to be friends with Danny.
