Yes I thought the same as you, like how does it make sense if it doesn't reflect the actual current odds?

I'm thinking that perhaps it may be a snaphsot of the current momentum. Such as where the money is being placed over the last couple of hours as opposed to when the books first opened?
I think you'd be right although I wouldn't read too much into it. If I can remember correctly last week it had Harry and Joel as the most on the pie chart. And we all know that Simon went. In saying that, if Harry's odds lengthen any further a few punters may be tempted to pile in on her. Don't think it will happen though.

Oh I agree with you. I haven't underestimated how much people overestimate the bookies odds as a gauge to who is more likely to go.

Likewise with the Tellymix poll. Up until recently most people said that the Tellymix pol always 'get it right'.
But last week when Simon went it didn't.

In my experience any second favourite to leave with odds under 3/1 has been just as likely to go as the favourite to leave.
When the odds are that close whether they are first or second favourite makes little difference.

I've noticed that money is also being bet on Harry to be evicted too as her odds to be evicted are closing in. So she too could be in the mix and may be in danger depending on the edit of tonight's HL show.

The Tellymix poll was also wrong the week before, when Jade went. So two weeks in a row when polls AND odds were completely wrong. Unfortunately I do think Marc will go tomorrow but it is a fairly close one. I'm hoping what happened to Jack last week happens to Marc tomorrow; The Marc haters take it for granted he'll go and relax their voting. Resulting in Jack or Harry going. I doubt it though.

I wouldn't be so downhearted, I think you should be positive whichever way you look at it.
If he goes then he goes. It would just mean that for some of us it will free up some more spare time for ourselves over the next two weeks.
He will be the star of this BB and there's nothing anybody can do about that now. It's too late for that to change. BB apparently have a system where certain housemates are deemed to be 'legends' not that I agree with the term, but if anyone from this series could be classed that way then it would be Marc, and not one of any of the others could come close.
If he survives then he should get to the final, but even then, if he doesn't win it doesn't really matter.

Personally I think there's every chance he will survive. The odds are so close between all four of them that even Sam could go, and money is still being placed on her.
Harry in the house is having a really bad time of it at the moment, so don't be surprised if things change again tomorrow.

Going by what I said earlier on, look at Harry's odds now....
http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/big-brother/next-eviction

Marc is now 3rd favourite to be evicted. Jack is 2nd, and now Harry is the favourite to be evicted.

But beware, as has been said earlier, don't take these odds as gospel because none of them are safe.

I'm still not sure Marc can pull it off but I think that's mainly because I'm a fan and am being pessimistic.

The money and, more importantly, the momentum does seem to be behind Harry at the moment though. I get the feeling a lot of the public have been waiting for Harry to have a week like this. She'll also be the victim of the "poor Nick" vote...rightly or wrongly.

Yes, that 'Most Popular Bets' pie chart we spoke of earlier does seem to depict the current momentum of bets being placed, as it perfectly matches the odds' order now.
The odds next to each name in the pie chart seem to indicate what their odds were when the most money was placed on them.

And he'll be getting a bad edit tonight if the spoilers are anything to go by.

Hopefully it seals his fate. I know I'm a downer but I can't see Marc surviving

BB better hope that they can, because if Marc does go tonight, which is a possibility, then this BB will have the most boring, moany, dullest set of finalists in BB history EVER. The worst lineup for the final you could possibly imagine possible. And I don't believe I'm exaggerating there.

Any other actual characters have already been evicted.

If you keep saying that it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy, as that attitude can be infectious and people are liable to just give up.
The best you can do is be positive whatever tonight's outcome will be.
If Marc does go, don't get down about it, because he's already established himself as being the face of this Big Brother and will be the most memorable housemate by far this year. It's far too late in the day for that to be taken away from him now.
The vast majority of the others will be forgotten about.

I urge everyone here to vote. Really vote. Vote Jack to go! We cannot let Marc go now. If he survives this, I'm certain he'll be top 3 at least.

Yes eviction crowd, cheering is good.

Haven't I always said how lovely I find the eviction crowd to be?

Good signs so far, although beware that anything could happen.

It's going to be a completely different show without him and not for the better.

But at least he got an immense reception! Probably one of the best crowd reactions this series, plus his response to the "Taxi for Marc" heckler was brilliant! Went out with a bang for sure.

Gutted he's out but a couple of super humble and "down to earth" interviews from him. Showed just how real and genuine he actually was...no matter how some people twist it. A wind up merchant but a decent guy deep down. He'll go down as a classic HM. Not just from BB16 but up there with all the top ones.

There were so many memorable/funny moments. A lot of them didn't even make the HLs shows. And, at the end of the day, that's all I ask for from a HM.

But if it weren't for the heckler we wouldn't have got:

"Only if you pay for it you ******!"
