I don't know, people like TOWIE, Geordie Shore and Made in Chelsea. If those shows can get viewers i am sure people will love what this has become.

BB has never been quality high-cultured television, Michelle and Stu under the table, Craig and Nicola naked painting, Kinga and her bottle, Makosi getting 'pregnant' in the pool for Anthony... I could go on and on.

BB16 was trying to go all old skool BB by having normal housemates, who were less argumentative, and it failed miserably, this series had no spark and it has now got a whole lot better.

TOWIE, MIC and GS are the new big reality shows, that appeal to young viewers, BB stopped appealing to a 'cool' audience a long time ago, and now C5 have made the show more appealing to a more relevant audience, and not to boring old fogeys.

Also, C4 cancelled the show, they don't want anymore to do with it, and seem to try and erase BB from the channels history. BBC or ITV wouldn't have touched the show with a bargepole as it was way too tainted. SO C5 brought it back, and just be thankful they brought it back, otherwise in the summer time you might actually go outside and get some fresh air.

It may actually have been better if Channel 5 left it alone and didn't buy it. Once they are done with the show it will never come back, Channel 5 have done irreversible damage to the show.

You say it's not for "boring old fogeys", well i'm only 26 and if i'm the person they are aiming for then they are failing badly.

I'm 25 and this is certainly not the show I want Big Brother to be. I was actually thoroughly enjoying this series. Now I'm not sure what to think. It's blindingly obvious, even to those viewers who have never ventured near these forums and have no idea about the ratings crisis, that something is amiss with the series after what the producers did last night. Unfortunately I don't think there's any way back now; I think last night was the final nail.
