He's the sort of HM who would be loathed if he came in at the start and would be voted out as soon as possible.

But because he wasn't there at the start, viewers have already formed dislikes for some other HMs and, in such cases, some will side with Marc when he targets those HMs, or at least not mind Marc winding them up.

We're already seeing it with what he said to Jack in the bedroom and with other things.

I noted that he hasn't really turned his mouth on the likes of Nick or Joel or Christian just the ones he knows are unpopular. It's easy to pee off the less popular HM. It takes real balls of steel to,turn on the popular HMs.

When Rylan was on the TV3 show (before BB started), he hinted there could be more than one Irish contestant, so they were obviously planning to bring him in at some point.

Already he's rowed with Jack, Danny & Chloe who are 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the betting. In any event, we've only seen his first few hours so it's a bit early for such a conclusion.

I just think he's been hired to do a job - a throw of the dice to see if this series can be revived ratings-wise.

Well so long as it spices things up argument wise I'm up for anything. I'd rather see them at each others throats than watch a boring bunch of knobs licking each others asses.

He's probably only in there for the week, paid to cause some drama for ratings etc then BB can "remove" him.

I don't think so. He'll be immune along with the other new ones this week, and there are already viewers siding with him. He might well be safe in a vote by the time he was to face one.

As much as I dislike this Marc I'm pleased he was brought in to stir the shit up. was getting to boring when they were able to sort disagreements outs beforehand. on this I agree with BB get rid and bring others in. hopefully this will punch up the viewing figures with conflict happening.

Nevertheless to suggest that he's picking on those HMs 'knowing' they're unpopular is implausible in my opinion.

Perhaps he's going by this forum, or similar sources. They're all unpopular here.

I suspect the reality is he's been very well briefed by BB and if he's targeting anyone it's not on the basis of popularity however you want to measure it.

It was all set up and agreed before hand with TV3. They bought the rights and clearly asked C5 to put in 2 people of their choosing from their homemade shows to generate headlines and interest for their channel.

This is why Jade was saved , it was a fix. If Jade hadn't been up they never would have switched the votes around. If you still pay money to vote after this level of contempt for viewers you are a mug.

That would make sense actually and explain why he seemed to be goading Chloe - arguably the quietest/dullest housemate.

I don't think Jade was in any of TV3's shows.

He finished his exams on 25th May. So could not have begun at the beginning.
