I'm sure Matisse could've entertained well enough without a cheap gimmick.

not that I like dog acts anyway. . . . . .

Poor thing was just used for no other reason but to make people sorry for him.

She should have used him for the tightrope act, then we would all have known that it wasn't Matisse doing it.

And it worked. What's your point?

If a person with a disability was included would you assume the same ?

Not true. It was essential for the narrative.

It was exploitation at its worst.

What would the reaction have been if Boyband had stopped halfway through and wheeled out someone. never seen before as a part of their act, in a wheelchair and danced around them for no other reason that to get more votes? - Answer Meltdown and outrage.

It probably lost a leg falling off the tightrope.

Skippy was pretty instrumental to the story being performed, though.

No any other dog could have played the part and just made to look poor and destitute.

Or in fact do a different story. Disability was just exploited for votes.

And hey, it won. So conning the public that it was the same dog all the way through and exploitation of disability got the owner what she wanted.

It wouldn't have fitted into their Power Rangers reboot (which kind of needed Chris Pratt).

Nope. That's not true. It HAD to be a three legged dog.

I'm thinking of conjuring up some more outrage by going on twitter and suggesting that the dog's disability might have been the result of elective surgery.

Once I'm done whining about the stunt lemon, that is.

Then you don't do that story! Talk about story invented to get what she plan to abuse in the act and good old DS to make excuses for her.

She exploited a disabled dog to get votes: What can first the story or the dog is irrelevant.

Why should she have to do a different story just because some people on a forum site think she did it to get sympathy votes?

Leave the poor lady and her dogs alone.

As I've said in another thread it's really scary how people love people one minute then tear them down the next! The public love it!

Skippy is HER dog, she said more dogs would be shown in the final. Should she have used her other dog, the one that had the hip replacement instead? Skippy played a vital part in the story.

She didn't "exploit a disabled dog" FFS! The little dog is hers, she adores her dogs so obviously came up with a routine that could include him. If anything, she's done 'disabled' dogs a favour, showing that even with three legs they can still learn, be trained, take part and perform just as well as a four legged one. Leave the poor lady be for god's sakes, some on here are like vultures descending on a carcass tearing every single bit to shreds .

The three legged dog came on after Jamie Raven. Maybe it was all a trick, an act of deception, a charade and he made its 4th leg disappear.

Didn't ever occur to anyone that Jules adopted that 3-legged dog who would probably, otherwise, have ended his days in an overcrowded shelter. Now, he's got a home, love, companionship and a job to do. All the things a dog needs for a happy life.

Was Skippy a boy dog, or a girl dog.

That would add a certain piquant to their doggy relationship. Like the dogging in Peter Kay's car share.

Boy I believe.

When Simon asked where Jules had gotten Skippy she replied 'he was a pound dog'.
