What is it you're getting upset about? That an uncharismatic magician doing entry-level tricks is so amateurish and poor in his execution that he exposes his inability to deceive the audience TWICE on national TV?

And as a confessed "fan" of magic you should be aware that simple invisible deck card tricks and note changing tricks are old hat, stuff he's copied of a plethora of sleight-of-hand artists in the past.

Do you live in a cave? The entire show, or any of them are like this. How many acts will audition with an Adele song or Imagine for X Factor? Hundreds.

A large group of singers, singing Hallelulah. Where's the originality there? Isaac, Callum and the sons all sung songs seen a thousand times before. Every dance act, danced to songs at entry level, Gangnam Style.

You judge them on how well they do it and his slight of hand was good.

There are a lot less tricks to go around than songs to choose from.

Derren Brown is getting fame off David Berglas? Dynamo off David Blaine etc. etc SO no magician can do a trick that a previous one has performed is that your argument?

Bill switches and bill to lemon are not simplistic entry level tricks. If they are so easy buy it tomorrow and film yourself ,then by tomorrow night you can send us all you tube link of your amazing performance.
Even invisible deck require a little skill.

ANY trick can be made into a feat of amazement,as I previously said in a thread Paul Daniels amazes with one cup and a ball,David Blaine with basic top change. Jamie Raven is not the best but he's a sight better than some(Dynamo IMO), I think live TV got to him but he was a lot better in the final.
