You asked me to explain the note change trick; I posted a selection of videos. You asked how inserting the note in the lemon occurred, despite it already being explained to you previously.

You're resorting to playing to the crowd as you've blindly defended a poor act and resorted to ad hominem attacks to deflect from your lack of substantial argument.

You explained/claimed that the note was "Palmed" into the lemon.

That was not the case.

So it seems that as I have stated that all you are doing is slagging off an act because you didn't like them and your only knowledge comes from googling things.

The note (signed) was palmed during the note change trick and then inserted into the lemon whilst removing it from the bag.

This is how Raven performed this trick and has been previously explained in the thread numerous times which egghead (and you it would appear) have chosen to ignore. She only changed her mind and claimed it wasn't palmed after you made that claim, erroneously.

I have explained how the trick works. All you do is say it's wrong and offer no explanation yourself other than to make snide remarks and ad hominem attacks.

In the video link to the bill switch, the bill/note/money was not palmed.
You keep insisting that is was and it seems that you don't know what palmed means and at no stage during the performance was any bill/note/money palmed.

I will not be offering any explanation at all. That seems to be your game: a game of expose a magician because you don't like him, but it seems that you do not have the actual knowledge to do that. You google something and then state that that is how it was done: If you had any knowledge that you would know that the same effect can have many different methods. Also in the link to bill switch, nothing was palmed and in the BGT magicians act, also nothing was palmed. Yet you keep on repeating the word palming and making claims you can't back up.

Educate yourself and go look up palming: you will find it's one of your "Cheap" Sleight of Hand tricks that takes serious work to get right. Above all, once you have educated yourself, you will them be able to go to the linked video and the BGT Magician's act and see for yourself that no palming was required or done.

In the link I provided the very first video clearly shows him palming the bill. You evidently do not know what palming is.

I hated his last performance and thought this one was very very good.

Invisible Deck is store bought but try spreading the pack in front of 5 million people, it ain't quite as self working as some would think.

He performed the bill switch smoothly and the lemon bit was good, he also tried to minimise the camera view of the lemon.

The key thing isn't , as people arguing on here would have you believe, how he did it , it's how entertaining he was, and he was entertaining.

The routine made sense, he overcame his nerves enough to do sleights at the beginning...no way I'd have gone there...it was just so much better than his semi.

I'm really pleased for him that he worked to his strengths and put on a great show.. It's a shame the press have decided that exposure is a fun past time.

I could not perform some of Paul Daniels tricks even now.

There is the difference.

Raven performed all of the tricks poorly. There is no debate on how he pushed the note into the gaping hole in the lemon

There is no debate that he did this with the lemon and his hand in the bag.

He did Palm it into the bag by the way, it was hidden in his palm!

I still must assume that the bailed out of the real trick halfway through, as no magician would take the bag from the box themselves, having introduced it as something no one should touch.

I think Jamie is a good showman. I don't know exactly how he did it all, that doesnt really matter, obviously it's a trick, it was pretty clear he was stuffing the note into the lemon whilst it was in the bag and I do agree that came across as a bit clumsy...all the showmanship of having it inside two boxes and a bag...and then he just stuffs his hand in the bag and instead of quickly and cleanly pulling out the lemon he shuffles it about as he pushes the note inside through the bottom of the lemon which he holds concealed the entire time.

Anyway...that all said I'll say again I thought the overall show was good, it had spark to it and it being so close to the judges made it exciting and I think he should have won really, he was impressive out of a bunch of very unimpressive acts.

The trick was good but his speaking in order to stall for enough time to do the sleight of hand dragged down the performance a bit. But people are criticising him for being amateur when he is an amateur!

So many on here love to criticise a magicians tricks but i'm yet to see any of them audition and do it themselves.

I don't understand why you think he 'bailed out' and changed the trick. He had to take the bag to get the note into the lemon, he was never going to let Alesha open the bag.

Yes it was indeed the case. You are just saying it isnt because it is a tactic used by the magic circle to prevent their tricks from being exposed.
