1. Jules & Matisse = Fantastic story telling, and yes the three legged dog called Skippy pulled at my heart strings. What can I say, I'm human.
![]() 2. UDI = Been my champions since seeing their first audition. Like Attraction, a very unique act. 3. Old Men Grooving = Very entertaining to watch, good concept (wedding reception) and great choice of songs used in their soundtrack. 4. Côr Glanaethwy = Sister Act is one of my favourite films of all time. I've got a soft spot for choirs although I could never listen to an entire album of choir performances. It's nice in small doses. 5. Issac Waddington = Easily the better of the two young male singers imo, and I agreed with Simon that Issac was in complete control. Playing the piano rather than singing to a backing track always helps. 6. Jamie Raven = Ok, so loads of DS members seemed to know how the lemon trick was done but, maybe thanks to a lack of certain camera angles, I was kinda impressed. Have to agree that his showmanship skills are lacking. He doesn't have the charisma to be a world class magician. 7. Jessie-Jane McParland = I really wanted to put Jesse higher but I felt as if she was hesitating slightly at points throughout her routine. It didn't quite flow as well as the semi final but regardless I'm glad Jesse won the public's wild card. 8. Danny Posthill = I really don't know why but in both his semi final and tonight there were moments when I struggled to understand what he was saying. Alistair McGowan is so sharp with his impersonations, I can understand his every word. Might explain why Danny has never made it before now. 9. Boyband = What can I say? Not much!!! ![]() 10. Entity Allstars = I missed it earlier on so watched it back on YouTube. Didn't miss much then. ![]() 11. The Neales = It wasn't anywhere near as good as Father And Son. I Won't Give Up is such a cliched song that's been done to death on X Factor alone, it starts getting boring when you hear yet another version of the same song. They were pitchy at the start which suggests they were quite nervous. It got better but left me underwhelmed by the time they'd finished. 12. Callum Scott = It just all went right and even Simon didn't give him a standing ovation. So where did it all go right? From what I could gather he started singing the wrong part of the song and realised he messed up hence looking like he'd forgot the words and coughed. He didn't forget the words at all. He just sang the bridge 4 lines too soon and that's what flummoxed him. |
