I'm not entirely comfortable with the tightrope but I don't think it was cruel, I really see the love between Jules and Matisse. In contrast to poor Wendy, who is no more than a ventriloquist's living dummy

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() give it a rest people like you are a embarrasment to humans, the dog was not terrified at all he was concentrating on the ropes or does your small mind not think that animals can concentrate?Jules was also always underneath the dog too too catch him if he did slip which thankfully he didn't. You could tell at the end of the act the dog was well pleased with himself and was giving everyone on hand kisses, yes i know it's licks lol but i like to call them kisses. |

And a scared dog would not do the trick would be frozen on the spot or try to jump off. You try walking on ropes and not have this slightly peeved look of concentration.

I think if it was a monky walking across a tightrope people would be outraged, as like those dodgy old circus acts.
I much preferred Pudsey, seemed to have a better connection with its owner. |

I thought the dog should not have been made to walk on that rope. Poor dog.

I didn't like it, one slip and it was an eight foot fall.
Rest of act was cute, but that seemed a bit dodgy. Should, at least, have been wearing a crash helmet. |

https://www.rspca.org.uk/utilities/c...cruelty/online However, you won't do this because you don't have any evidence to support your case. |

I am happy with most dog tricks, but making a dog walk across narrow ropes high up was just in my view, to much, the dog looked nervous and not that happy?
I doubt I've ever seen a happier dog. |

Do some people have so little in their own lives that they have to constantly find fault in others?
Jules so obviously loves Matisse, and he her. Anyone who knows anything about dogs would recognise a happy one, and Matisse is blatantly a very happy dog - no dog that is terrified of its owner would behave as Matisse does. His tail was wagging constantly and he didn't cringe or cower at any time, around any human. And if he'd been frightened on the ropes, he'd have been trying to get off, or wouldn't have even attempted it. He was concentrating, and just showed that he's an extremely intelligent animal. |
