eastenders. ronnie is back on the square. what did everyone think?
ok this week ended with ronnie mitchell returning to the square after being released from hospital. the week started when vince was arrested for assaulting the drug dealer that was due to testify against dot. once he returned to the square he made kim feel all loved up and moved into the b and b with the rest of the fox's.
the mitchells on the other hand were the one's who called the police as they needed vincent out of there lives. before returning to the square ronnie had a massive fight with her sister roxy. speaking of roxy after the fight she started drinking her sorrows with liam butcher!!! sharon sent him on his way. cindy on the otherhand has started having second thoughts about living under the same roof as beth. can anyone tell me what the result was from the story involving lorna fitzgerald taking laughing gas? usually they issue a statement with the result of the investigation after about a couple of days. speaking of lorna. abi is going to have her heart broken this summer as ben starts to take an intrest in pam cokers son. we were talking about liam butcher earlier. i forgot to mention he was offered a job to work on donna's stall but carol was having non of it and forced him to decline. he was not very happy about this! i think this is the start of his exit storyline. anyway this week was 95% mitchell. but non the less a good week. what did everyone think? |

I've found Eastenders to be quite dull especially the last week. I like Ronnies acting after returning to the square but everything else just seems bland.
Not heard anything come out of the Lorna incident, seems like its been dusted under the carpet. |

It was a month ago she had a couple of balloons. "Hippie crack"?! LOL. They're nothing like crack and I'm speaking from experience. The Daily Fail and their "sources" make me laugh. Balloons are legal highs so she hasn't broken the law. I think EE bosses would be on dodgy ground if they sacked her for doing something that isn't a crime. Some people go on about "slippery slopes" but drinking will get you far more inebriated and for much longer than balloons. Actors on soaps rarely get suspended for drunken behaviour in fact I can't think of any from the top of my head. What's the difference between a balloon and a drink legally or morally? I'm looking forward to seeing how Abi deals with Ben getting sexy with Paul Coker. She said ages ago that she would make it work between them even if Ben fancied a boy. Clearly this time Ben's going to go further with Paul than the cack handed passes that he then backed out on before. I can see him dumping Abi and then what will she do? |

I'm strangely disillusioned with Ronnie now. Besides Monday and the Masoods s/l, I thought it was a bit of a non week. Bit bland.

I barely remember more than 4 scenes from last week. I'm glad Ronnie's back. The shows in desperate need for her. I'm also really, really glad she outed Charlie about his affair straightaway. In the past these things would have been hidden for months so I'm glad no secret stays hidden for too long now.
What really pissed me off was Charlie asking her if she loved Vincent. He tried convincing Roxy to tell Ronnie that they love each other! Charlie is one of the thickest hypocrites I've ever seen on EE. He was so, so good in the very beginning but after the writers turned him into a class A idiot he's just become unwatchable. |

I thought the same thing about hypocrite Charlie. How can he have the audacity to question Ronnie about Vincent when he went with Roxy! Other than that I have become bored with Charlie and even Ronnie recently. I think Charlie and Ronnie should split. I agree Charlie was more interesting in the beginning when he was pretending to be a police detective and we weren't sure who he really was. I am glad Ronnie confronted him rather than giving him looks behind his back for weeks or months.
I was a bit surprised Roxy didn't realise she was leading Liam on. I know it happens in real life that very young men get an idea in their heads about older women but even so Roxy should've known better. To be honest I wouldn't mind now if Roxy and Ronnie go to Ibiza for a while. I would have liked more scenes with Ronnie with her baby and seeing how she copes with him after being in a coma especially given her history. I think she should be over protective but it's like she's blasé about him. |
