Widescreen switching on plasma
Hello,
I am wanting to buy a new plasma and connect it to by DVD player and SKY+ system. If I use the following connections, will the plasma screen automatically widescreen switch from 16:9 programmes to 4:3? Pace Sky+ > 21 pin QED scart lead > DVD Player (No YUV) > 21 pin QED scart lead > > JS Master SCART Controller > 21 pin QED scart lead > JS RGB to Plasma VGA Converter > Premium VDC VGA lead > Panasonic TH37PW7 - 37 inch Plasma Display Thanks Richard |

Isn't the auto switching lost if you do not use SCART all the way?

richard, the VGA connection carries video but not WSS (wide screen switching) this can be overcome using the RS232 port to switch screen modes see www.avforums.com for more info
