Today's paper had the 32GB S6 for £31 on Virgin iirc (I was reading the paper in someone else's office so can't refer back to it).
Edit Just checked their web site S6 32GB is £31 pm . Still if you are a light-moderate caller and happy to use wifi, why not? |

It's a good deal, but do be aware you only get 250 minutes and 250 meg, which would really hobble your use of the phone away from wifi,

I picked up an S5, mainly because of the SD card slot. I recently popped into a Samsung shop to have a look at the phones before making my decision, boy they were trying to sell the S6 to everyone. Quite a few did get the Ace or other models.
Heck, even the likes of o2, EE and Vodafone recommend the S5 over the S6 due to the expandable memory. |

I had the S3 S4 & S5 and thought long and hard before going for the S6
I always used a spare battery, great for footy trips & holiday flights etc. I also used a large SD card to hold a film & some TV programs & my music for trips hols etc. The S6 is a great phone, as for looks i always use a TECH21 case so you only see the screen. I have got round the lack of SD card by buying a £3 OTG adapter cable & a 64gb Cruzer blade USB flash drive for £11 formated as ex-fat as FAT32 is restricted on file size. I also purchased a large & a smaller size Anker power packs. I must admit i did prefer my removable battery & SD card but as said earlier time and tech move on. Also for anyone knocking the S5 i thought it was a cracking phone but sold it to pay towards my S6. I still have my trusty S4 & removable battery lol |

I went for the S5 rather than the S6 for this very reason.

what really puts me off is the price they charge for the higher capacity ones like the 128gb one.
At the moment I have a 16gb Galaxy S5 with a 64gb memory card and that's nearly full so I would probably be looking at the 128gb version of the S6 which is silly money. In future if the S7 is the same next year when I'm due to upgrade with no option of an SD card and the 128gb one still being silly money I will be either looking at an LG phone or even one of the Indian phones as I hate being mugged off (even though I recommended the S2 for my wife and she got it, then got a S3 myself followed by my S5). iPhone customers have not got any other option if they want to use iOS, but with Android there are loads of alternatives to go to. It may suit some people streaming everything, but I like everything locally (as it should be with the cheap prices of memory nowadays). |

I took advantage of the offer CPW had recently for double memory so ended up with the 64GB S6 which more than covered anything I already had on my S5.
