The tap dancers were a refreshing change as it's not something you see that often, especially given a modern-emphasis but if I'm honest I'm kind of over the 'street dancing' acts and wish they'd give it a rest for a year or two.

I feel terrible when I see several groups of youngsters every year perform what's undoubtedly an impressive physical routine yet find myself utterly bored by it. As a genre entry for the show it seems overdone now and in my mind over the last few series they've all blurred into one and as a result have become less and less distinctive. When a 'street dancing' act comes on I often use that as an excuse to make a coffee as I know despite it likely being impressive, it's nothing I've not seen a thousand times before on the show.

I'd love it if the dance acts had more variety to them such as the tap-dancing group. Something you don't see every day (or in BGT's case, five times a series)

Hula Hoop girl should have been in the final.

I know what you're saying. They're obviously well disciplined, with tight choreography and a great level of fitness but they can get a bit yawn after the dozenth time.

Arguably many of the finalists are what you'd call choreography based including UDI, OMG, Jesse Jane, Boyband, and even Matisse (oh and Entity Allstars but I had to look that up just to prove your point lol). When you think about it a significant number of past winners have been choreography based, George Sampson, Diversity, Pudsey, Spelbound, Attraction and now arguably Matisse (although not strictly dance). Those acts definitely show a variety of style. The other series winners have been singers so really it would be nice to see a non singing, non dancing act win, actually Matisse kind of fits that bill but you know what I mean.
