Sad, but Adrian was far too nice for Eileen. She was better off with the grumpy old mummy's boy with the parrot. She will never get a decent fella until she throws out all those moochers living off her basic wage job at Streetcars.

Blimey, that was a very short-term contract Mark was on then.

Hope Eileen now cuts all ties with Todd.

Eileen would have screwed it up eventually, he has had a lucky escape.

In all honesty, who could put up with Eileen, she's not very nice and has Sean the most irritating lodger in the universe.

Aww shame. Not really a suprise cos it was onvious Todd was going to mess it up.

Rather Adrian stuck around than Etika. Hope blackburn decides to bring him back.

Poor Eileen alone again 😕

I like Eileen, she is the only one who sees Gail for what she is, a miserable interfering old woman. She has turned into her mother in law , Ivy.

This isn't that surprising, I think they had no spark. Is it just me or would Eileen be more believable as a lesbian? I think they should turn her into a late in life lesbian.

When I saw the thread I thought Eileen was leaving! I'm not bothered about Adrian. I find him bland. Maybe Eileen and Tony will rekindle their love? OK maybe a comfort shag? Liz is probably going to miss him but an affair with Tracey Barlow of all people?! The chances of forgiving that are slim. I suppose Eileen will comfort eat when Adrian goes. If she chucked out the likes of Sean then she would have less screen time.

Blackburn hinted in an interview that this might not be the end of Tony/Liz.

What was the point of hiring a decent actor for a five minute job?

What a waste of a well known actor... He could have been big

THIS. The sour faced old harridan doesn't deserve a good man.

Adrian's quite a cool looking guy and dresses fairly well. In real life there's no way he'd be seen dead with a dowdy old trollop like Eileen.

I really like Mark Moraghan, but pairing him with Eileen was an error.
He deserved a better storyline, imo and, if he wanted it, a longer contract.

But if they did that she'd have to have a storyline with Sophie - it's soap law

Horrible Eileen deserves to be alone, even without her troop of layabout lodgers she wouldn't be a good catch. Adrian has had a very lucky escape, though I've a feeling he might be back.

LOL, well a lesbian cougar story could be interesting. Sally's reaction alone would be reason enough to do this story.

So the lovely mark moraghan was brought in solely as a plot device for the odious Todd?
What a waste of a great actor.
