There's been rumours in newspapers about a All-Star BGT series akin to the Dancing On Ice one, bringing back past winners and runners-up to compete. If this were to happen, who do you think would be included? How do you think it would work? Who do you think would win? Who would you root for?

What do you lot reckon?

The problem with a show like this is it makes previous winners or contestants who did well into losers. Although I'd quite like it if for this they did the semi finals by type of act, so it's more about seeing who the best of each act is from over the years. We've had lots of singers, lots of dance acts, lots of impressionists, etc. A semi final for each would be good.

In a newspaper my Dad bought. I think it was The Daily Star.

I really don't to be honest because the standard would be pretty high.

But Connie is popular still.

You don't really hear of her, though, like you do Diversity, Collabro, Ashleigh & Pudsey, Susan Boyle etc...

Plus, I think the producers would organise the semi finals so Hollie Steel would get through (I doubt they'd want want two past kid acts in the final) due to the controversy surrounding her when she was given a second chance.

But Connie is more popular than Hollie and beside Hollie is not a child anymore she will be 17 soon.

She was a child when she was on the show. I'm not sure if Connie or Hollie are more popular but Hollie would cause controversy and Connie wouldn't IMO.

Too expensive.

Unless Simon was SO clever that even his furthest back former contestants have always had secret clauses in their contracts that they had to come back whenever he calls, for cheap.

Diversity maybe would be. George Sampson wouldn't, though. Paul Potts is probably under Syco, as are Collabro. Spelbound haven't even done anything since BGT. Ashleigh & Pudsey are Syco. Attraction are Syco also and Jules & Matisse likely will be before too long.

Paul Potts would be in the final. He had a great rags to riches story and is one of the very few British talent show contestants who is an international star. You've got him down twice in the semis by the way!!

Don't think drunmer boy Kieran would make an All Star Final. Can't even remember Steve Hewlett!!

Truth is though such a show couldn't happen as some are now stars in their own right and don't need talent show contests any more. Why would someone like Faryl Smith who isn't even signed to a Cowell label cone back to do a Cowell show. Doubt Paul Potts or SuBo or Diversity would do it. Doubt George Sampson would either. The dog acts might though as show competitions are their thing anyway. The foreign acts might too if they're not getting the work. But without the biggest stars it wouldn't work!!

I think he possibly would. He had quite a backing.


He was the comedy ventriloquist who returned as a wildcard in the year he was on.


I haven't seen Faryl Smith or George Sampson do anything in ages. Also, some of the acts are signed to Syco anyway.
