Awkward. The farce (in the theatrical sense) of Gail and Andy trying to keep a secret from Michael didn't fit in with the tragedy of Maddie's death, which was almost a throwaway moment around the episode break, then that storyline becomes serious too, and Bethany's one-liners just feel out of place.
So I guess the lessons we can learn from this are: Don't run past a police cordon or you'll die of invisible injuries. Don't tell your husband that a stranger is his dead son. And never let Tracy Barlow play with matches or a couple of random people she hardly knows will get blown up. |

I'm not sure what the Corrie thread protocol is for such occasions. |

Only the second- I doubt he would get that far though, the clear trend is death once you've married Gail and worryingly for him they seem to be getting shorter as she goes along .

I really enjoyed tonight's episodes.
I was quite shocked by Maddie. I didn't think Stuart Blackburn would kill off TWO characters. The Websters are a brilliant family, so it's only right they play a big part in the lead up to the LIVE. The scenes between the Platts were comedy gold, wether that was intended or not.
