That made me laugh uncontrollably. Am I the only one who enjoyed that?

Ah, I've read a few more posts, I'm not alone. Loved it.

Brilliant episodes tonight. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed Corrie so much. The Gandy reveal was hilarious .

Also the scene with the Nazirs and Leanne was really moving.

She's wonderful. Everyone needs a chum like Julie.

Are the writers all about 16? Have they ever watched Corrie?
The whole thing is making me so angry, I can't contain it. I'm done with it.

Well I thought it was very good

I disagree. He's now a green.

I enjoyed the ep.

Jane Danson...what an incredible actress. Her scene with the Nazirs was truly moving.

I agree. I really enjoyed the reveal. I liked the little bits of humour added in like "Did you have an accident" and really enjoyed Helen Worths performance. People say she isn't a convincing actress but I think she is and has fantastic comedy timing.

June is here here and time is running out if you’re thinking about submitting a team for month’s Corrie Challenge game.

Don’t worry if you have played before. The game is a bit like a simplified version of Fantasy Football so if you fancy having a go just read the rules below. And, if you're an Emmerdale viewer you can play the Emmerdale version of the game. Just check out any of this week's "Emmerdaily" thread for instructions.

Anyway, it’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.

Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.

Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday Episode Thread to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.

The scoring system works as follows:-

+ 1 point per episode appearance

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.

+ 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point.

+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 5 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday.

+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!

Once you’ve done all that you can also pick a name for your team. This will be listed in the Score Updates.

Your “Starting List” for June’s Corrie Challenge is as follows:-

• Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) – no more, no less.

It's nice that there's something on now but I struggled to invest in these episodes.

I never bought Maddie's personality transplant - everyone acting like she was some sort of saint just grates when she came in as an unwashed irritant who physically assaulted, stole from, and tormented Sally. Creepy Sophie, who abused her position as a homeless shelter volunteer, moving her in after that made Sally look like a weak doormat who has no say in her own home. Brooke V can't act so I am not looking forward to the next few weeks.

The only thing I agree with Blackburn on re: Maddie is that the actress was good. But 'great' character... not seeing it. She was mostly disliked until recently when a few fell for the personality transplant. She was obviously being set up as the new Becky but it didn't work out because at her worst she was more unlikeable than Becky ever was, they paired her up with the awful Sophie, and the actress didn't see a future in it.

Leanne and Kal had zero chemistry and anything that increases airtime for the Nazirs is not a good thing. The Gail/Michael scenario was plain odd with what should've been a hugely dramatic moment coming across as comical. He should shop their asses to the police as any normal person would.

Because the actress has gone off to make Jericho with Jessica Raine a step up from Corrie I would say.

Because the Actress knows finding work is hard when you are as "talented as she is" while Maddie actress intantly found another job even before she left.

I take it you don't believe in Character development.

Surely anyone would act differently if they were having to survive on the streets than if they were in a loving home with a girlfriend and 2 jobs.

I thought I read that she had been told the door would be left open for her return; but that was said to Michelle Keegan, too.
