16Gb for £179 and a 64gb version for £219.

Just a heads up if anyone is interested. A Oneplus 2 is on the way but i've got the One, and it's a fantastic bit of kit and it's now on Android lollipop as well.

Neither of them take SD cards.

What is the difference meant to be between this and the new one?

The new one's not going to be out till Q3. Will probably have SD810, 5.5" 1080p. They've said that they want to keep Oxygen OS very close to stock whilst adding consumer features (they'll release Hydrogen OS in the East to add features that that market likes) and they've said that they're committed to battery life.

Hopefully it will have full UK LTE support.

Looks like a nice phone, but shame about no 4g for o2/Vf which means I'll wait and see what the new one looks like.

Actually the new one won't be all that much of an upgrade on the original one. I mean, still 1080p, 5.5 inch screen, 3gb ram and the same storage options I guess. Of course some people won't be getting 4G with it, so can see why some would hold out for the OnePlus 2, but aside from the better processor and cosmetic look, may or may not be drastically different. A 64GB Oneplus One, at £219 looks good value.

In real world usage terms, I don't think people will really notice much difference in performance to be honest. I think I most likely will skip the Oneplus 2 and not bother upgrading, as I don't think there will be enough to justify it. On BT Mobile, which uses EE, and I used to be on three, and both networks I had 4g working. So if anyone is on EE or THREE, definitely worth thinking about picking up one of these.

I agree it's always looked a cracking phone but never had an invite to get one. With being on o2 network its not much point in getting one as I can't take advantage of the 4g coverage.

I suggest waiting for oneplustwo for those interested.

The oneplusone for some reason seems slower than it should be, e.g. my s5 901 can do a malware antibytes scan (same apps) about 1/4 of the time the oneplusone takes, likewise with appscanner, installing/upgrading apps from google play is also way slower than my s5, so something seems up with the oneplusone, and I think the weak link is i/o performance, as the snapdragon 801 cpu vs 805 is only small difference.

The same EE and Three that will be rolling out 800Mhz onto their networks this year?

Honestly, we do not know. Specs will get a bump and hopefully, as has been pointed out, all UK LTE bands will be supported. Lets hope they don't go for the train wreck that is the SD810.

Well, there has been enough well documented issues regarding the 810. Here's to hoping the next chipset will be an improvement. Wjhat else could they have gone with though? Mediatek?
