Sharon & Grant always felt like endgame to me, so I wouldn't be against it happening if Grant ever did come back.

I loved that line tonight - low blow, definitely but very much deserved (& true).

I think it might be best to keep Sharon and Grant as a positive memory, I have a feeling revisiting their relationship would only end in disappointment.

Phil and Sharon don't remotely love each other

Of course they could dangle a lot of money in front of him but I think he enjoys his journalism work far more than EastEnders.”

Agree with this. I keep saying this every time this comes up in discussion on here. He won't come back, he doesn't act any more, he has moved on and is doing serious documentaries and journalism. Even when he gets too old to go to places like Afghanistan or some of the places on Extreme World he will always find something less dangerous. He won't be short of offers.

He's a good bloke which is why he won't bad mouth Eastenders and why he always says things like he won't rule out a return. To be fair he must get fed up with people asking him if he will return as Grant as that is his past and his documentaries are his present and future.

Agreed, he won't be back. Ross has made a name for himself away from EastEnders - something many former soap actors struggle to do. But he knows he owes his success to EE, which is why he will never slag it off or definitively rule out a return which would risk upsetting fans.

Even if he did come back it would look odd. He wouldn't be Grant Mitchell, just "Ross Kemp in EastEnders".

Sharon with Philth is just dreadful. I was shouting at the TV last night "Leave him!!!!!!"

I would give anything for Grant to come back and for him and Sharon to get back together. I cannot abide her with Phil and have no idea why she would go near him when he has treated her so badly.

I also want Mark Jr to arrive and watch it all kick off as Grant realises that he is his son......

But I am not holding my breath for either one.

When she told him she was leaving when she found her Dad all I could think was "I'll believe it when I see it."

I've wanted him to show up for years and for the Mitchell's to discover who his father is. Michelle having Grant's baby has to be one of EastEnders most pointless stories ever.

Depends how he'd be used, if his last stint is anything to go by we might be better of remembering the Grant of old
