Soaps using drones

Do you think that soaps should use drones?

Last week Corrie used one to film the shots of Victoria Court explosion, as well as the shot of Maddie running round the corner and other shots.

Just in case people don't know what a drone is, its a helicopter like remote controlled item with a camera attached

Sure, opens up a lot of new filming angles that were never previously practical, or even possible.

Could be very good to get a new perspective for viewers but for most soap backlots it would cause a problem in angles and trying not to show things we are not meant to see like ends of sets or no roofs on buildings etc

They could raise awareness by having a drone crash disaster.

But then they could CGI it in or edit it out in post production
