Funny seeing Jess trying to be nice to Omar when she clearly don't fancy him at all.

Hannah and John make a lovely couple, nice for them to make it "official" and it sounded like they had sex after...!?

It's great. Omar thinks he can 'crack on' (another of their annoying phrases) with Jess. He's got more chance with Jordan! Jess isn't interested in him in the slightest !! Can't wait to see if he tries and gets 'pied' (ugh).

So what exactly is the difference to being "pied" as opposed to "mugged off"?

I'd say pied is rejected and mugged off is lied to.

But I haven't got a side parting or tattoos so that's just a guess

Jeez, now they have sent in Dennis the Menace, who is a replica of every other sod in there. And he looks barely legal....

That was my first thought too. This would really shake things up.

I hope Jordan chooses zoe. And that no one chooses Jess.
It would have shaken things up more if he'd chosen Hannah. Somebody needs to split those two up.

Agree. They're now extremely complacent and think they're untouchable.

Jonathan kept saying last night "we're official, we're boyfriend/girlfriend". What does that mean exactly? Does it make them immune? I hope not. They need a rocket put between them as they've had an easy ride since day 1.

Not keen on new boy. He comes across as very arrogant, he looks about 12 and actually isnt all that good looking, imo.

Naomi is now starting to grate - she plays and flicks her hair a lot which is highly irritating.

Omar and Jess were hilarious...all that "aww babe" nonsense from Jess. You can tell she doesnt fancy Omar and will jump ship the minute someone else comes along.

Rachel was no big loss. She was one of the quieter ones in there and didnt really bring much to the group.

Danielle, for the first time, dropped in my estimation. Not sure why. She just did.

I hope Zoe gets on well with Chris but I STILL think she fancies Jordan.

I actually think "pied" is an excellent piece of transformational vocabulary. Instead of mopping around feeling rejected and second best, it sounds like a bit of fun as you move on to the next.

I'm not exactly 'young' (I'm older than most of the people on the show), but I'm really familiar with 'pied' (being rejected) and 'mugged off' (being lied to).

I guess it depends on what part of the country you're from?

Made me laugh the new boy saying he has the best nights out and the best drinks, he goes to LA... He's not even old enough to drink in LA!

John and Hannah are really starting to pee me off. See if they'd have come in and been honest about knowing each other and having the same management and we're just doing it for the £50k I'd have so much more respect for them. Instead they're fooling the public into winning the money and everyone's falling for it!

Unless a newbie comes in and imparts that info it probably won't become common knowledge.

I'm sort of warming to Jess a bit. Her acting is awful but Omar is lapping it up. I quite like how decent she was in the end about Josh and Naomi, we've seen her in loads of scenes with Naomi so they obviously settled things, plus Naomi's comment about how good she'd been.

I sort of can't help but like her, it would definitely be a duller show without her. I also think that she genuinely does believe she pied the twin, like Naomi said, she'll cringe when she sees it back as she was very drunk.

I feel like she's had her comeuppance now and survived it so she deserves another shot. The person who needs a good pieing imo is Josh.

bib - I know, I meant more the public though. I just hate the idea of them getting £50k for getting one over on the public. If they'd be honest with us in the private room thing and said 'we're playing a game, were acting, we already know each other' etc and let us (the public) in on it it would be a different story.

I've been watching this since the start and it's totally trashy TV but no different from any other 'reality show' as far as I can tell (I gave up on Big Bro years and years ago after about 4 series! I don't watch many other reality shows either). However I've been finding this quite entertaining.

One of the bemusing things about the show is how everyone seems to be passed around and somehow, sometimes, they convince themselves they are forming some kind of relationship with each person - or even worse, a week later they suddenly discover chemistry with someone (the whole Luis and Danielle thing for example). I have to say I'm pretty skeptical of any claims of chemistry or relationship potential especially in people who have formed a couple out of desperation/no choice. I'm a little bit worried some people will get stale now they've all more or less swapped with everyone.

Highly amusing that Rachel's parting words were around coming on the show to find love whilst wanting to protect her son. Likewise on Zoe's claims that she's been hurt so many times and wants to find love. I'm sure reality TV which is about hooking up with a choice of 5 men is a valid path for all of that. I don't believe a word of what they say.

I was a little disappointed by last night's episode for some reason, but things will probably get spiced up a bit over time. I wonder if they are just going to continue bringing in a new guy/girl every week - is that the whole format of the show? In which case it's pretty easy to imagine who'll leave (Lauren, possibly Zoe, Omar, and probably some of the others).

I haven't liked Danielle from the start and she came across pretty horrid last night in her chats with the new guy - who appears to be a total douche but that is a requirement for the show!

I'd like them to do a bit more than just lounge around the pool. The challenges should be a way of mixing things up a bit more/causing controversy with people already in there. Otherwise we just watch them and wait for new arrivals.

I'm surprised that Jordan hasn't been more popular actually. On the first episode I thought he might be the one the girls flock to. He seems to have been overlooked. Likewise with Chris who seems quite good looking. Maybe they are too boring for these crazy party people?!

I hope they start to send them on dates out of the house and get them doing something. Too much like big brother at the moment.
