I am loving this show but think they do need to do something to shake it up a bit. I haven't watched it before but it seems that they know to get in a couple early, stick under the radar and keep going to the end.

Kady is a nightmare but you have to admit the night they got sent to the hideaway and the new girls had dates was by far the best episode because it was a car crash. We need more drama as I am getting a bit bored.

No panel discussions, no interviews with evictees...I doubt she's been on the island since they filmed her very brief opening sequence and the first episode! Iain Stirling is priceless with the voiceover but I also enjoyed his live appearances.

Cara is an adult. Crying and histrionics because someone was leaving the game show is over the top, attention seeking and uncalled for.

Or at least that's how it comes across to men. Many women seem to cry very easily or in circumstances where it isn't warranted. I think women thing that crying about rubbish is endearing and gets sympathy but men just find it childish and a huge turn off.

I was surprised to see that Scott went to Manchester Uni and is the director of a PR firm. He told Kady he had a History degre e so he must be pretty clever. He easily won the Love Memorising test.

Did anyone else catch him telling Kady that she had to stay if he was voted off? A cunning way of making sure he could stay guilt free in the more likely scenario of Kady going, lol.

She walked it in the Miss LI competition and made several references to pageants on the night as well as a few observations to and about Zara before she left.

I understand that Zara's story arc, such as it was, was the Miss GB crown (especially as she mentioned it every 30 seconds) but surely Sophie's title(s) could have been mentioned as well as context for Zara's situation or merely as background material for Sophie beyond her bisexuality? Sophie and Zara seem polar opposites - hair, complexion, body type, personality, etc. - but had something very significant in common yet almost never discussed it.

I was genuinely surprised at her U-turn with Tom and her pledge of loyalty. It's clear that there is not only an age gap but a street smarts gap and an intelligence gap. Since she obviously is open to experimentation perhaps she thought she would give the boytoy thing a go. Tom's constant moaning about their situation before The Declaration was very boring but now that he thinks he's landed his worldie he says even less and is even more boring. This is the problem in general with muscle freaks and Adam's lack of a personality only confirms it.

I think it's possible Adam is totally misunderstood.

Adams' humour is SO dry it sails right over their heads. (like when Terry says 'she'd want your penis'. the way Adam says dead-pan 'she'd want that?' is brilliant.
He can't banter easily with the lads because he's on another level.

Adam seems like by far the most intelligent guy in there; he almost messed up the producers clumsy attempt to rig the Mug competition in Scotts favour.

Yeh agree with all that about Tom and Sophie - they don't look great fit to me on any level. My hunch is Soph does like him a bit but her real aim is to just get max exposure as she wants to work in tv.

I agree with you. He tries to fit in with tthe "lads" by making remarks like he did. Gives the excuse of banter. Dan was a gentleman, did not fit in with the lads apart from Nathan whom he got along with. He even brought Scott to task, over trying to Make Zara in the wrong for him going off with Kady. Then Zara denied it. So it made it look like Dan was in the wrong and lying. But he still did not take it out on them.

I also think he lacks social skills. Any conversation that anyone has with him is so painful!

Think Adam finds it difficult to interact with the group he is with, deffinately out of his comfort zone. Nathan is the polar opposite to him. Easy going laid back and could probably mix with most people.

I don't like Adam, but I'm surprised that no one suggested that the approach he took when Liana had a go at him, ie carrying on with his eating and trying to look nonchalant, was because he was deeply embarrassed and being the socially awkward person he is, didn't know how else to play it, so just carried on eating as if to say 'nothing to see here'.

Yeh few people did point that out, agree.....he was just stitched up a bit, worst thing i have heard him say by a mile in there and was a snap remark to something Terry said that gave the boys a wee chuckle and that was it. Terry made far worse more pointed remarks about Liana that the producers chose to ignore using in the mugging off game........his alpha maleness hold even stretches out to manipulating the production team

After that hug I imagine if we ever get to see Adam kissing one of the girls it will be like watching a tortoise gumming a lettuce leaf
