I have to say there's been a lot of double standards seen recently. Troy comes in and gets stuck in and puts himself about in an effort to do what he went there to do and that is to stay in the house. And immediately he's branded a "player".."cocky"...a "snake" etc. But erm didn't Alex walk in and sleep with Zara despite making it clear that he planned on hooking up with Olivia? Where were the harsh remarks for him then?
![]() Then Terry does what he was always gonna do and dumps Malin and all of a sudden the female population try to rush to her rescue...the same woman who treated Rykard like dirt in her pursuit of Terry...where is the balance here? Hell even Terry is getting off lightly for his behaviour...claiming he was "gonna leave" and then five minutes later pieing off Malin and getting with a younger model. Yet Rykard got tons of stick after him and Liv got it on. Oh the joys of reality TV!!! . I hope Troy settles down with Tina and gives it a shot!!..but if he wants to stir pot a little then isn't that what we wanna see? A little drama? Loveisland tends to be a show that starts very strong but gets weaker as it goes along!!!..a fiery finish this season would do the show a world of good even though it's already been a big success. Terry always was what he was - its was has obvious as the tats on his body. His words last night calling the girls crumpet and suggest they are always opening their legs so he can catch a glimpse - deary me Terry are they no mirrors in there take a look mate you are not all that - and suggest you try and find your personality cos you seem to have lost it somewhere. BTW I think Malin and Terry are matched - I think she knew was she was taking on and I think she can handle him |

![]() I stand by what I said - Troy has manipulated the girls in order to stay in. Not that Oliver was overwhelming or anything but I would prefer him to Troy personally, but for the people in there, Troy fits in the best with them. I think he is a sly one though, time will tell. |

As for Tom... wow I really feel sorry for Sophie as he is constantly watching her, following her, it's beyond creepy now. Who do you think is going to couple with who out of the four singletons now then? Also, who is picking this week - boys or girls? Although, Caroline has apparently got TWO big shock twists in store! |

Loveisland tends to be a show that starts very strong but gets weaker as it goes along!!!..a fiery finish this season would do the show a world of good even though it's already been a big success. No one on these forums that I haves even have rushed to the aid of Malin. For me personally, towards the end her and Terry's relationship seemed weak - she was becoming clingy and was annoying him it seemed so I wasn't surprised to hear that he was planning to dump her (or at least thinking about it), I think him saying he was going to leave was a knee jerk reaction and then he realised after he didn't want to do stayed - although all that guff he was talking after (eg "it's a test" etc) was a face saving attempt and all bulls**t. I don't think people expected much more from Terry and that's why there is no furore about him moving on with Tina really (other than the girls in the house and anyone who still liked Malin by the end). I thought she was s bad friend, a real stirrer, clingy, annoying and completely self unaware. Pretty though! So I don't believe there is any double standards in THESE cases. Although people are saying they don't like Troy, me included, and there is something sly about him - doesn't mean that's not what I want to watch. The scandalous the better! Oliver seemed like a nicer chap but not suited for this show - much like Dan wasn't. |

I didn't warm to Troy at all. He seems like a right try hard too - and what's with the way he speaks? He sounds like the boys when I was at school, grow up mate. Blatantly the only reason he homed in on Tina is because she is single, she doesn't seem like someone who would be his kind's kind - although how am I to know what his type is but they just don't really seem like a match.
Not that Oliver was overwhelming or anything but I would prefer him to Troy personally, but for the people in there, Troy fits in the best with them. I think he is a sly one though, time will tell. Errrm they were given a mission and told that the girls would vote someone to stay. Any surprises why he was the one chosen to stay when he was the one who put in the graft? Oliver was taking it easy and just being himself. Well that's not the way to compete. Troy did what he was supposed to do survive. He won and Oliver was a bitter loser at the end, good riddance. The winners in this experiment are those that have not played nice and honest but have looked out for themselves first and foremost. .i.e Terry, Kara and Troy. These are the people most likely to succeed not just in the house put outside because the truth is we all are competing consciously or subconsciously. |

Sophie and Tom at the moment are the ones who will be dumped from the island. So it will be I was teaching Tom a lesson, he has learnt our relationship is stronger.
Sophie change her tactics after she went out with Toms EX, and found his EX more appealing. She doesn't stand a chance with her. |

I cant believe both the new Guys are Brain Surgeons.
I wouldn't like those mitts in my melon. If true you clearly don't have to be a rocket scientist to become a brain surgeon, because game-show or not, Troy was stupid admitting he'd screw Tina over with a sneaky bit on the sly. Which is exactly what he'll have to do, becausae if Troy thinks he's going there with Tina he'll need a big f*cking wooden horse. Never say never though. Tina is heading straight to the scene of the accident, and we've been on this journey before. It arrives at 'Family Illness' before you can say 'did i pack my toothbrush?'. I'd love Emma and Sophie to hook up, but i'm aware it's almost 6 months too early, and also Terry is in the way right now. Sure, all the girls fall for Terry. But how many just got their heels caught in that under-bite? Seriously. Anyone for shrimp gumbo? Brutal eviction. Oliver got all the pie he's ever asked for plus interest on the balance, didn't he. Couldn't someone have thrown him a bone? FFS, they knew he'd already lost, and oh my, the red face. I kept waiting for Terry to run over and fry some shrimp on that beamer. Must be galling for the originals to see Scady charging up on the rails. Nobody took them seriously, but they're the only ones i can see working as a couple (just, please god, don't let them breed). I do like Cara and Sober Nathan together sometimes. But they'll never ever work as a threesome. Adam had someone to talk to for a good 5 minutes there. A few vital drops in the desert. Just enough to remember that there is evolved life outside of the villa. Anyone interested in the DAAM club should PM me for the rules. (Drink-along-a-Malin). We should get started ASAP, as the producers will be torn between sending her back in to chew Terry his new towel-holder right now, or going for gold by manipulating Terry into the Love Island Wedding, then...............'Does anybody object to this marriage?'...............slow click click of heels, heads turning, gasps, red shoes, camera pans up, hello tv awards. |

OK, I am not a spring chicken so I do have a problem with 20-something jargon.
What the hell does 'mug someone off' mean? Where did it come from? And what the hell is 'pie someone'. Is that reality show language? ![]() Puzzled. |

You mean she's going to read the piece of paper someone hands her? I'd be more than happy if I never saw her again.

I know you say that the nice guys don't win but at the end of the day it is the viewers that vote for the winner and if we don't like them, they won't win. I can't see Terry winning for example. |

Can someone tell those dimwits that it is "could have, should have, would have". Not "of". I fear this is spreading and the language itself will be forced to change to encompass this generation of preening luddites! |

Yea, forget the bit about Caroline - that's just how the headline read. I'm more interested in what the "shock twists" will be.
