So they're not voting a couple out - they're splitting 2 couples up.
Ha - I like it

Well that was a damp squib - the Islanders are so cliquey, so Nathan and Cara, Olivia and Alex and Kady and Scott would never have voted against each other, plus they all idolise Terry for some strange reason, so the 'weakest' vote was dull as dishwater for me.
Wish the public had been able to pick the 2 weakest instead, I will be annoyed if Sophie goes as I like her - I do think Tom needs to go though. EIther way - I hope the big Friday bombshell is Malin going back in to confront Terry

Why vote Liana though? She's boring too. I don't like Tom but at least all the drama is good viewing.

Alex didn't do anything sly though, he was very open. He did still certainly get a ribbing on here but I think people were more shocked with Zara's antics so it took the heat off.
No one on these forums that I haves even have rushed to the aid of Malin. For me personally, towards the end her and Terry's relationship seemed weak - she was becoming clingy and was annoying him it seemed so I wasn't surprised to hear that he was planning to dump her (or at least thinking about it), I think him saying he was going to leave was a knee jerk reaction and then he realised after he didn't want to do stayed - although all that guff he was talking after (eg "it's a test" etc) was a face saving attempt and all bulls**t. I don't think people expected much more from Terry and that's why there is no furore about him moving on with Tina really (other than the girls in the house and anyone who still liked Malin by the end). I thought she was s bad friend, a real stirrer, clingy, annoying and completely self unaware. Pretty though! So I don't believe there is any double standards in THESE cases. Although people are saying they don't like Troy, me included, and there is something sly about him - doesn't mean that's not what I want to watch. The scandalous the better! Oliver seemed like a nicer chap but not suited for this show - much like Dan wasn't. ![]() Troy's edgy/cocky attitude might rub people the wrong way. But the fact is he's done absolutely nothing wrong. He hasn't fed Tina false promises like Terry did to other girls but typical of the BGP they have to have an issue with Troy!!!.. |

Alas, I'm sorry to see both those couples up. I would have picked Troy/Tina (alas they had immunity), plus Terry/Emma-Jane. Would have loved to vote Terry out.
I'm hoping Tom won't go. I think that Sophie has really played him in the last couple of days. His world fell apart when Emma came in and she has created trouble for that couple not by setting her cap at Tom, but by befriending Sophie bigtime, which has caused alienation from Tom. Tom was devoted to Sophie and she has mugged him off bigtime. ![]() Adam and Liana - so sorry here. That friendship was just starting to look promising. ![]() I'm not sure which one should go. |

Troy's acting like Tina should be *grateful* because he picked her.
Are people forgetting that she was used by Scott and Terry? But for Troy she'd be in big trouble now. But oh no Troy is "enemy number one" now if you look on twitter.

Do I feel sorry for him now - hell no Do I like him - hell no

Re the "dates" they're on: Why do so many of the contestants spend time wailing "You're my type . . . not my type" etc. I gave up having a "type" at around age 20, and these are a few years older than that. Seems curiously immature.
![]() It's not about getting to know the other person. It' not about finding someone with a "personality" that attracts you. It's about the immediacy of how physically attractive they are. |

Well I never accused you of anything did I? I just said Tina SHOULD be grateful because he's saved her from certain eviction imo when other lads lead her down a garden path. Yet people are still calling him "sly" and a "snake"? If he was a snake he would have gone with someone else.
![]() As far as I could see Tina was perfectly reasonable and courteous to him on their date - she just voiced her concern that she was wary (understandable given how Scott & Terry treated her) - but all Troy could do was go to the VT room and complain. I would have been more impressed if Troy had talked about how he needed to try harder with Tina to allay her concerns - but nope, his first point of concern was the fact that she didn't seem impressed. Laughable when you consider he was talking about what his "type" of woman was (and it clearly wasn't her)

The point I'm making is you said "he's acting like she should be grateful" and she should....that doesn't mean she has to give the lad a toe job!!!. ...just that he's proven he's not as "sly" as many seem to believe he is, that's all.

It basically means to be made a fool of. I only knew of the phrase when I started uni in London a few years ago. Some people usually say "Am I a mug?" when someone suggests they do something stupid or if they try to make a fool of them.
To pie someone off means to reject someone's advances

Sorry but that's nonsense imo. What has Troy done that is "sly"? Not a word that he's spoken has been backed up by actions. Yet there's already a hate campaign for the lad to be "kicked out". Yet Alex went in there and took advantage of a vulnerable girl and then coupled up with Olivia...and you're giving him a pass?
![]() Troy's edgy/cocky attitude might rub people the wrong way. But the fact is he's done absolutely nothing wrong. He hasn't fed Tina false promises like Terry did to other girls but typical of the BGP they have to have an issue with Troy!!!.. And what poppycock about Alex taking advantage of a vulnerable girl. SHE asked him on the date, SHE was the one who was so eager to stay the night and SHE was the one (by the looks of it) who sucked him off with no instigation. He didn't pressure her into anything. Yes she may have regretted it after but that's not HIS fault. He was hardly a gentleman but it was 50/50 for sure. And what do you mean by typical GBP? Why is it typical? Also - can you not see all the people here saying they could vote out Terry - he's not getting away with anything! |

I also hate that one from each couple is getting voted off, Adam and whatsherface are so boring and bring nothing but dullness. At least Tom and Sophie are entertaining, even if you are laughing at them (well Tom). |
