I've been a big Sophie fan all the way through but I thought she was a total and utter cow bag last night.

Other than the totally fake lovey dovey stuff with Tom and the totally fake emotion about him leaving, the way she judged and ostracised Emma for what, having sex with Terry? That was disgusting.

They women were like primal creatures, threatened by a younger, more fertile female in the pack. They were actually slut-shaming, even though they have had sex themselves. So the cover came off? Big deal!

And Sophie was the one who was all "I'm so chilled about sex" etc.

Was totally appalled at Sophie last night. What a phony and a hypocrite.
Which is why in my post I said something seemed totally off at how the night before Sophie and Emma were friends and then the next day there was all this tension and unfriendliness - as i said in my earlier post, it is the producers i'm quite sure - the reason for things looking fake and forced sometimes is because a certain amount of 'acting' is required when the producers all of a sudden prompt them to play out a story in a particular (& different) direction....

You called my Sophie a cow bag - oh well you're entitled to your opinion just as we all are & I totally love Sophie - I think she's lovely mistakes and all. And she is strong and can stand up for herself as seen last episode.

Cheers

But the cover didn't "come off" - Emma deliberately went for it on top of the covers as she'd discussed with Olivia "They can't show it if we do it on top of the covers can they?" They could have done the deed on the bed downstairs if that was all she was bothered about, but it seems she went out of her way to shove it in their faces. So to speak.

In my opinion, Sophie was shocked that only hours before Emma was saying she would never, ever have sex on tv (and possibly felt a bit judged by Emma, who may have been implying she thought she was better than that?) only to witness her going back on that in a BIG way. I also think Sophie was shocked she could get someone so wrong. Pure conjecture on my part, we have no idea how much of a hand the producers have in it all.

I believe Emmas act in full view was to show Tom what he was missing and a pop at Sophie..after saying she would never have sex in the house..as if that made her somehow better than the others..what she actually did was total opposite end of the spectrum....I dont know anyone who would do that so brazenly in front of a room full of people..having a fumble under the covers quietly from the couples there is one thing..sitting on top of someone in full view of everyone and vocalising every move is for full effect.

I dont blame Sophie being off with her..Emma has portrayed one person and behaved like another..I would be wondering just how much of what she had said was true..so would feel a little silly for falling for it.

I wasnt a fan of Tom..but do feel for Sophie left alone in there.

Sorry. I know this isn't really on topic but is anyone else scratching their head at the fact Emma (who has just turned 19) is a project manager in the construction industry???

Anyone else thinking Terry is now their least fave Islander? I liked him at first but he sinks lower and lower in my estimation with every episode.

I think it is the way he carries himself too. The girls in there are a bit rough too if you know what I mean so that's the kind of thing they like. A wrongun. When he first went in I didn't get it. Then I started to think that he was kind of attractive in his own way but the more and more his ugly personality shone through the more gotten he became to me.
Tangerine Terry is the least attractive guy in there, with his tacky tattoos and undershot jaw.

Walnut as against Tangerine, otherwise I agree with you.
Terry is in his late 20s, he has much growing up to do, can't see his ego being deflated for a while but wait until he's in his 40s, what about those tats then .. they sure won't come off ..

Perhaps she won't be one for much longer. What respectable company would employ a wannabe pornstar whose sexual endeavours have been aired on mainstream tv?

I liked him as well, he was actually my favourite mainly due to him appearing to be laid back. After last night, I've now changed my mind and can't stand him.

You'd like to think, wouldn't you? Although it is the construction sector so who knows? I just can't get my head round a 19 year old giving orders?!

Er no one is on Sophie 's side. The other girls were quick to run to emma and report what she said
I thought it was pretty clear that I meant everyone on the outside (fans of the show). It's obvious from watching the show that no one in that house was on Sophie's side

Tina was sitting with Sophie and not joining in with the pack if I remember rightly and I would hope that Adam wouldn't either

Yeah, Tina and Troy were sitting there but I'm not sure if they are on her side or if they just don't want to get involved. Adam is a bit weird, when Terry was gossiping in the afternoon he was sat there (can't remember if he participated or not) and when everyone got up to leave coz Tom had came out, he also got up to leave with the rest of the group. I think he might just go with the flow

You're probably right I wouldn't rely on any of them to stick up for her. Liv and Kady were the worst they couldn't wait to run off and stir!

I can't wait to see all of the reactions when Malin goes back - especially Terry's!!

Why would Malin go back, she'd only known Terry for a couple of weeks. She would have gotten over him as quickly as she got on top of him.

Liv especially. She quickly gets up in a huff after what Sophie says and goes to the kitchen where everyone is and announces that she doesn't want to stir shit when her face is already saying a lot. I don't like Kady but you've got to admire how she doesn't hide what a snake she is. She didn't need persuading to twist the knife in

Yes but then I realised it's probably just a fancy way of saying she makes tea in a builder's caff

If it was a bloke in a construction company he'd be welcomed back with back slaps a-plenty and cries of 'go on my old son'.

I'm well aware of that Pru but as we know, us women don't get off with things like this so easy.

I think the only way the current tide will shift is by Malin going back in. Liv and others will be team Malin and she will rip into Terry and Emma!

I think they both need bringing down a peg or two!!!

Did anyone else think it was a bit creepy the way Tom said to Sophie (twice) "I'll be watching you"??

Also, maybe Sophie got sooo annoyed with Terry and Emma "doing it" in front of everyone was because she was a bit jealous of Emma (i.e. SHE wanted to do it with Emma)?
