- Yeah so I bet you the producers take Sophie to the pod to watch a video message from some family member or the other OR take her into the 'not-diary-room' (which I now know from voice over guy is actually called the beach hut lol) OR they contrive some stupid way for Sophie to find out that Tom has been up to some no good or the other on the outside, then Sophie goes running back to Katie to beg her to forgive her and give her another chance...

Yeah so that's the bet peeps - who will take me up on that bet action - hmm?

Bl**dy producers - don't know what they are thinking - what is wrong with letting people just be natural and have things play out normally - instead of contriving crap to try and keep their ratings up - dimwits - damn. I'm so pissed off i tell you!

I don't think this will happen because I'm pretty sure Sophie doesn't find Katie that appealing. She probably knows that Katie Salmon was hugely ridiculed in the press recently for popping out her boobs on purpose at Cheltenham Races and may be backing off because of that. Also, Sophie seems to be age-conscious and has said she wants to settle down with a man so that she can have children who are biologically hers and his.

Scott has been trending for hours on twitter. I fear his little stunt at the end of the show may have won him the show. I guess it would be a nice thing to have a different couple win than the frontrunners of the whole series, even though I like Cara.

Anyway, regarding Sophie, she is a people-pleaser, a flake who wants to be on everyone's good side. People like her worry how other people view them. The way she went over the top to be friends with Emma said it all. I doubt more assured girls like Kady will bend over backwards for Scott's ex if she were to come into the house.

Fact is Sophie is the weakest girl in the house and any thing that will put her in a bad light will shake her to the very core. The producers knew she would react the way she did and she played right into their hands.

If I was to pick a couple to win it will be Scott and Kady. Who must not win are the man child Nathan and Cara.

Dear oh dear Sophie........dear oh dear oh dear.

How to go from one of the more appealing characters to zero in one show.

Hard to pinpoint the most annoying thing but i'll try in a random list...

1. Her...hmm...."eyebrows" - these felt tip things would immediately stop me being interested in anything she had to say if I was there as anyone who does that to themselves then looks in a mirror and thinks "yep that looks good" is borderline insane imo.

2. The fact that "strong" woman Sophie let Tom call her a slag for doing absolutely nothing and she just brushed it off when she could have spent a good hour explaining to too much testosterone Tom the Tit that it's no longer 1920 outside Wales.

3. The fact that she had so many reasons to split with him throughout and in the end chose a reason that wasn't even there - I actually thought Tom behaved quite well - for him - when Emma arrived. Sophie's mind never once stopped thinking how she could manipulate the situation to make her seem either understanding or heroic.

4. The way she jumped back with Tom when house were voting on the couples felt like an insult to viewers intelligence but she just went for it anyway having spent the previous few days saying how suffocated she felt by him and how he brought her down so much.

5. This latest installment with Katie and the way she's treated her is the icing on the cake. Rabbiting on and on and on about how she feels so natural and safe with Katie and what a great connection they have and then drops her like she has the plague the second she heard that "insult" on Twitter about her exploits being similarly as bad as Terry's who she'd slagged off for it. Did she really need to hear this tweet to make her realise this?! Everyone keeps telling me how clever she is...I'm not feeling it.

6. The "speech" she did at the end to the rest of the villa was probably the most toe curling, nonsensical , manipulative and sneaky event that has happened on the island and no great wonder that was received to universal silence and indignation! WHY didn't someone just say "hmm if you like Tom this much why don't you just go now?"


I don't get all the "i'm going to stick this out and make it to the end" claptrap that Sophie and Terry came out with - it's a show to be in a couple....if your partner leaves and you genuinely like them as Terry and Sophie both protested why didn't they just go.

Adam J - can someone explain.......i mean literally explain to me just one sentence he has uttered. I have listened to him now for days and haven't been able to make out one complete full sentence and arrange the words into anything like the English i know..His usual sentence is something like this "er like yeh er like yeh obviously you know like ere well like er you know like er you know that maybe we have a connection like er obviously er i'm er thinking er like obviously there might er be something there like"

Last gripe - can people like Scott and Troy stop uttering the phrase "I need someone to keep me in line" - the implication always being "I'm just so out there and witty and funny that I need to be tamed".........Scott repeats himself and says bro way too often for my liking and Troy has turned out to be a complete dweeb once his 5 minutes of "banter" (poor innuendo usually) has gone.

People going crazy over Malin's return & confronting Terry, backing her and supporting her but forgetting she was the biggest back stabbing snake in there and voted her out a week earlier.

Bad for Katie, she seems a genuine girl and has been totally screwed around with. Sophie practically admitted using her and 'doing whatever it takes' to get to the final.

Honestly, and I NEVER thought I would say this 4/5 weeks ago, but Nathan and Cara are the ONLY ones I would like to see win. The rest are all snakes/game players/liars. IMO of course

Alex comes across as really insincere and a complete player. Those conversations with Olivia about how he things are going to develop on the outside have fake written all over them. She knows this.

Terry is bit of an arse but Malin was unbearable!! Appeared to me like she just wanted Terry as her "trophy" to stand behind and show off. I disagree.

They came there first and foremost for the realty TV experience, boosting their profile and a chance to win £50k. No one in their right mind really came there to find love. These are mostly good looking people who have no problem getting attention on the outside. Even if they found love which I very much doubt is possible for anyone on the show, why quit when they can still continue to enjoy the experience and also have a chance to win £50k and then meet their so called partner once they leave the show?

Rykard did quit but that was because he was hot headed and acted spontaneously because he hated the idea of the producers messing with his head by ruining his partnering for for the second time. He wont admit it publicity though

I tend to agree - £50K is a lot of money for any of them. I am sure they wanted the experience also and I suppose if love came along it would be a bonus. I think you have to be a certain type of person to enjoy being filmed 24/7 - I think most of them must hope for some kind of reward whether it be the £50K or after the show. And it can be achieved Vicky Patterson and Brian Dowling etc have all done really well from starting on a reality show, so I suppose that outcome is always on the cards if they have the personality for it. Good on them too - you have to make your own success - I think success will be sweeter for them if they don't trample on people to get there.

I think Twitter went crazy when Jon porposed to Hannah last year. Not that it made any difference because they never won. I think this is what Scott's idea is, proposing to Kady hoping that it will convince people that they are genuine so they can win. I could be wrong of course but time will tell.

Love Island is entertaining, but it's so cringe how fake and stages it is. For example, when you see people who literally never speak to each other suddenly having a deep conversation with one another. For example, Sophie and Tina last night lying on the bed outside. You could tell the producers had asked them to sit there and speak about how Sophie felt about the twitter task. The worst though was Alex and Adam J's conversation by the fire outside...so staged by the producers. Have you not noticed how every single episode has a structured storyline? It's edited and structured to within an inch of its life!

When did Sophie say that - I missed that, but the truth is it is a game - should we be angry with them for playing it? or should we be let down that they have not played it well enough to win the £50K?

I don't know if producers could just let things take their course - its is a show - if they had a villa full of people like Adam (which I do like a lot) - however he is so laid back he is nearly on it - if everyone was like that we would be watching people getting a tan. So I do understand that producers need to add a few spicy ingredients to the mix.

Before I take your bet If it is the procedures steering the ship - are all the housemates aware - so was the crying by Katie and Sophie for the camera's directed by the producers - if your theory is correct the crying had to be fake - this is the bit I am finding difficult both girls looked really upset to me - are you saying they are brilliant actors?

Yes have just started to notice this the more I have watched last couple of weeks.
I can only assume it will be even more staged next year as the ratings keep rising.
