Sophie leaving was so cynical. Purely for appearances. Shocking.

Tina is the kind of girl who Jamie from MIC would have dated and then cheated on.
Scott is the most academic in the villa - he has a History degree from Manchester University and is director of his own PR firm in Manchester. A good catch for Kady really. I think Tina would have paired up with him quite happily as they got on well when they went out on a date. |

Emma's the kind of person who has probably never enough encountered a problem in her life. All 20 years of it.

Bit like those people who get The Times and hide a copy of the Daily Star inside.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Keen-eyed viewers may note that the ISLANDUHS have, presumably on limited occasions, been able to send texts to each other. When one bloke was sent outside on a date/meetup he could send texts back to the villa...the camera shot caught the previous messages including one that said 'What time do we do our media'? I don't think it's scripted per se in terms of dialogue although the producers gladly use boredom and the Stockholm Syndrome to manipulate them. But I do think there is much more stage-managing going on, possibly of the 'you two go to that bench and talk now' variety. And, of course, we know that an ISLANDUH might be in the middle of a joke, a conversation, a challenge/game, or a row and be pulled into the LI diary room to offer commentary or (more often) answer questions from off-camera. |

Of course most of it is staged to an extent. Somebody from last years line up even admitted that (can't remember who). They are told by producers to go into the bedroom and discuss something has happened, or sit by the pool and talk about something else etc etc
The tweet about Sophie backfired in their face big time, I don't think they expected her to leave like that. |

Tom was watching last night and was shocked. He didn't know she had left and hadn't at that point heard from her.

Yep - producers royally screwed Sophie over - she had to leave because she could not 'act' their scripts anymore... - see how subdued she was everytime she said 'i love Tom...' - she might like Tom but she does not love him - she did not leave to be with Tom she left because she could no longer stay for the producers to continue screwing her over...
Her leaving royally messed up their bl**dy 'script' - one moment the 'scripted' we all hate Sophie show is playing out much to my disgust - next moment they've all been told it's all over as Sophie is going and not playing the producers stupid games anymore & then it's all tears and group hugs?? I mean did the men in black visit the villa and zap their memories away with that gizmo gadget thingy?? Noooo - it was the fakeness coming to light when Sophie walked. The truth will eventually come out I'm sure - the producers are going to screw Katie over next because the poor girl is now unnecessary to whatever bloody 'script' they had with Sophie and Katie in it.... - now they're just going to mess with her as she is now the only single one in the villa.... #LI Producers = Big Time J*ck*sses!! ![]() Z T <- still cool - but bloody angry too ![]() |

Sorry I don't post on here very often but can someone clear something up for me please? I keep hearing Katie was encouraged 'to come out' on the programme because of Sophie's actions. But am I missing something here - was she a closet bi?
Not once did I hear her say it's a big thing and no one on the outside knows :/ It was never mentioned. I don't recall her having any conversations with anyone regarding this. She told Scott she was bi like it was a known fact! Unless these conversations were not shown! |

Sophie was stitched up. I thought it was disgusting how the others treated her. They were all going around saying that Katie came out for Sophie...no she bloody didn't. Katie sat there with Kady and Scott on her first night and Scott asked if she knew Sophie was bisexual and Katie replied with "Ooohh I'm bi too". Sophie may have lead Tom on a bit and been confused, but has everyone forgotten how completely polarising and dominating Tom was during their time together?!! Also, I don't get this whole big uproar over Sophie and Katie...everyone in there is there to couple up...that's how you end up staying in there. All they did was a bit of flirting that maybe went a bit too far. Sophie may have been a bit stupid, but that's as far as it goes. All the others are a bunch of hypocrites...Terry behaved far worse with what he did to Malin, Olivia went and shagged Rykard, and Kady's behaviour screaming "c***" to Tina was vile. What they all did to Sophie last night was disgusting and it was horrible to see them treat her like that and then even pretty much pack her bags for her.

I haven't watched it yet, was watching the football. But how come Katie is the only single girl left when there are two Adams one of whom pared with Tina I know.
I was focussed on my anger over what the producers did to Sophie until she very wisely walked & also focussed on my concern that Katie will be the next one the bl**dy producers screw over! the morons! Z T

Found it mildly amusing how Emma had a conversation with Terry about their relationship the night after Liv had the same conversation with Alex seeking reassurance. Both Emma and Terry know nothing is going to happen on the outside so it was a pointless conversation

Sorry if I've missed this being asked previously. When Katie made her big decision to choose Sophie, there were 2 guys left, Troy and Adam,, so if the girls had picked as they normally do, that would've been 1 guy left each. So the producers must've known that Katie was going to choose Sophie because they had Lauren waiting to then choose one of the remaining lads, if it had been any other coupling there wouldn't have been anyone left

Sophie left because she loves Tom, {yeah right} gives an interview with the Sun before she attempts to see him....such love eh? He tweets that he has nt heard from her and they don't have each others numbers. This is no surprise..but she probably has an agent drawing up a contract about mag deals etc for her and Tom's showmance. i think he had feelings for her but she is one cold calculating fish.

Random I know but does anyone know what type of dog Ben was? He looked like a mix of something. The cutest one in there by far!

It's so annoying that they kept saying that Katie came out for Sophie. What poppycock, she so didn't. She came out with it when talking to Kady and Scott on the first night she got there like she couldn't wait to reveal it. They said she'd be sharing a bed with Sophie and asked if she knew that she was bi and Katie was all "Ohhhh I'm bi too". So no, she didn't come out for Sophie at all. And the kiss? A mere peck instigated by Katie. What a joke!
I am not a Sophie fan but that was all blown way out of proportion and the way they were all carrying on was horrible, bar Tina. |

It was pack mentality. Very unpleasant to watch.
They have all become extremely grouchy due to the isolation, sensory deprivation, repetition, etc. Compare their attitudes now to the first few weeks. Newcomers were cause for giddy screaming and intense get-to-know sessions. Now they barely elicit a shrug of the shoulders and the newbies are roundly ignored except perhaps for Katie who has made a constant annoyance of herself. Although the nighttime activities have been less frequently aired it seems that the couples are even having sex less often, such is their boredom. |
