Happy with the result. Cara and Nathan deserved to win.

And this series has been amazing - way better than last year. So happy to see its done well in ratings and back again next summer.

The way people were saying it for the first part of this century was wrong. 2004 should have been 20 oh 4, like how we would say 1904.

I'm glad sense has prevailed.
Well, I say that they were saying it wrong for the last 2000 years an sense prevailed but for 12 years only until the Olympics came along and it became twenty twelve all of a sudden!

So nerrr!

Wowzer! Nathan and Cara 54% of the vote!!
I thought she said 64%. A stonking majority regardless. It was predictable that they won but I am happy it was them and not any of the others.

I hope they bring back the panel show bit that they had last year - as a separate show like Big Villa's Little Villa or something!

they shouldnt have the choice to share, one person should keep the money or they go away with Love and no money
I like how they did it last year - Golden Balls style. Split or steal - if you both steal, you no the get nothing.

Anyone would be stupid to steal though, unless you wanted to slink off out of he public eye. People wouldn't be too impressed with it so you would become unpopular whereas if you are popular AND are in your couple you could make that in a month I reckon with interviews and appearances and what not.

TOTALLY off topic now but just wondering in anyone agrees. I don't like this whole twenty sixteen malarkey. I'm a two thousand and sixteen gal myself. My husband says I'm a fuddy duddy but I just don't feel it's right, it feels like such an Americanism. We were calling it two thousand and one, two thousand and eight etc so why the change? I feel like it happened in 2012 when we had he Olympics and they started saying twenty twelve as it was catchy. Now all of a sudden it's twenty thirteen and twenty sixteen. I'm not buying it!

Am I alone in this?
No-one would say 'twenty four' for 2004 because it's an actual number, 24, so it was confusing. Whereas 'twenty twelve' is not a number. It started with 2010 from what I can remember.

Annoyed that Cara and Nathan won. He has no idea what awaits him on Pornhub; she has misled him. The producers should have warned contestants that they might be matched up with porn actresses.

Series 3 has been recommisioned by ITV!
The trouble is, everyone knows how to do it now. Form an alliance with someone right away, agree to act all loved up for the rest of the series and voila - the prize is yours.

Although that's not what happened last year. Max and Jess had been together like a week and mostly people liked her but not him!

Jon and Hannah tried to do that last year and he even proposed on the programme, but it came across as too OTT and they were beaten by Jess and Max.

Jon couldn't cope with the reality of a girlfriend who was also a porn model and I'm pretty sure Nathan won't be able to either.

That pic of Terry, oh dear - muscles definitely maketh the man!

I didn't think he was the 'heart-throb of the villa', though. His faded tattoos and his over-tanned skin made him look weathered and older than the others. Alex had the best body, lovely wide shoulders and not too many tattoos, and Nathan the sweetest face.

So when was this filmed ??, sounds like they have all been home and come back for the final
I'm sure Nathan said (twice) about the poem he wrote "last week"

Last night's show went on far too long.

Funniest bit for me was when "rent a crowd" were "dancing" and pretending to have t the time of their lives behind Caroline when she was presenting. I could swear there was no actual music being played!

The declarations to each other was sickly and cringy, especially between Adam and Katie who've only known each other a matter of days!

Also made me laugh the way Caroline literally screeched "get into the pool, GET INTOTHE POOL" to the islanders when the show ended.

All in all I enjoyed this series. It is what it is. Bring it on next year!!

Yikes. Should the girls have been warned the guys have slept with hundreds of girls?

It did indeed. I also think the pool they draw contestants from is relatively small so there's a chance to form alliances beforehand or see a familiar face when you're in. Some of my friends are signed up with an agency that provides people for reality shows such as Take Me Out and agents often scout the type of places I hang out in .But if the producers anticipate that then I would imagine it's easy enough to change the initial format next year to subvert any schemes.

well for what its worth the only parent who should be proud of their son/daughter in there is Adams Mum, i would be be mortified to think my son or daughter had had sex on tv. and then say we have watched every minute of it and we are so proud of you.

Im no prude either before anyone jumps on me, but somethings surely are just not for everyone to see, imtimate relations being one of them .
To be honest, 'most' of the people who go on these shows (Big Brother, TOWIE, Geordie Shore etc), they're all interchangeable and fame hungry wannabes. Writhing around under the covers is meat and drink to them.

Personally, I agree with you, it's not something I'd want to see my own kids do - but I suppose I'm being a bit of a hypocrite as I am sitting watching it.....!! This is the first year I've seen LI, just found it flicking through the channels one night after everyone had gone to bed, I've quite enjoyed it - a bit of lighthearted fun and a bit like BB used to be in the good old days!

On the winners, I'd have been interested to know if Nathan would have split the money, not sure Alex would have if he and Liv had won.

It certainly was! Helped by the fact that they were both also relatively likeable.

He said he decided he loved her last week, but waited until the poem to say it. Show was live, and filmed last night. The poem bits would have happened at some point at the weekend.

I don't reckon it is worth stealing. As a couple you could easily earn that in a month with mag deals and appearances etc.

I don't believe Cara and Nathan are real. I just think they're very smart. From day one I think they quickly clocked onto the fact that they were a bit similar and got on and that if they stuck it out until the end then they might win. There's no doubt they get on and I do believe that they fancy each other, but I don't believe all this crap about them being in love etc. I reckon they'll last a few month, get some magazine deals etc, make some money and then we'll hear that they've split up.

I think they are real BUT I think they knew eachother before the show. They are both from the same areas and probably out on the same scence. To me during one scene when he was tired or didn't want sex it seemed like they had been together ages. Not how you are after a few weeks together.

The last few shows Adam really grew on me and I got him. It was so touching when he told hs mum he had made friends for life and how he had no friends before. I loved the banter with the boys chatting before he went into the love pad or whatever you call it. All the boys giving him advice and them all having such a laugh.
