If that was the case then you would think they would have regular coupling sessions. It suggests to me we will just vote for our fav female and fav male. If that is the case then Lauren could easily win.

Cally is wife material....Luis is not husband material. She was gratified to reunite with him but as Lauren pointed out being together 24/7 is a recipe for conflict. Unfortunately for her it's not really a spat she's just realised what a vain, shallow, manic person he is and that long-term prospects are dim.

The re-coupling isn't exciting or interesting any more as we know exactly what will happen. The 'secret mission' was not a secret mission at all - the new people were put in to couple up with Lauren and Josh and they were chosen because of that. That was the whole point. There's nothing secret about it! Clearly it was heading that way as Joshand Lauren are both thinking of not pairing with them and sticking with eachother. They'll be considering whether pairing up with a well established friend is likely to get you further than a newbie. Luis and Lauren were planning on doing exactly that until Cally showed up. Usually a newbie is allowed to couple with anyone so could have chosen eachother just to stay in. They've been told couple with an existing islander oryou're evicted. Josh and Lauren aren't allowed to know so it prevents a sympathy coupling as well. I find it very interesting as I'm excited to see if Lauren and Josh go for the dubious "it may work, coupling or if they go for eachother and play the best friends angle that Luis planned with Lauren. I'll also find it interesting if Lauren and Josh tell them prior that they want to couple together as we'll see the newbies having to work even harder, and Josh andLauren will be thinking why don't they just couple. Thirdly, because they can't couple with eachother, depending on how much they want to stay in the villa, we may see them throw themselves at more firmly coupled islanders. If Poppy Senses Josh is an absolute no go she would have to look elsewhere or accept going home. |

To fill in the gaps I've been looking at evicted Islanders twitters.
(I'm ridiculously addicted 😳 ![]() My observations: Chris still doesn't like Zoe at all but he supports Hulk so doesn't want her evicted. Chris and Omar are both really positive about Jess Bethany is a bit of a hypocrite saying that the public are too quick to judge she the newbies when they don't know what it's like in there (sorry who walked and immediately rowed with Jess without getting to know her?) Naomi is handling it really well. She's very marmite so gets a lot of love too, but she's handling the horrid rude people really well and accepts it's a game that she lost. |

I'm so sad that I go onto the LI FB page and watch a preview clip of what's going to be shown on tv later that night. I just cant wait until it comes on tv that I have to go and search for a preview clip ![]()

If Poppy Senses Josh is an absolute no go she would have to look elsewhere or accept going home. Lauren and Josh (Poppy and Ben automatically go home) or Lauren and Ben AND Josh and Poppy Then two go home at some point soon (if not on the night of the recoupling) - but it would be very feasible that the public don't care about Poppy or Ben and so they'd be in the running to leave then anyway! Plus any combination of these 'couplings' isn't going anywhere IMO. I find it hard to believe that either Ben or Poppy would get anywhere with anyone else as they're all coupled up. Out of desperation they could choose someone else but it's pointless as no-one will choose them so they'll end up single and going home. So that's what I meant about it being unexciting and a bit pointless. |

I said practically the same earlier up in the thread. She's a lovely girl but is a bit "meh". They either need to send someone in that she fancies, or get her off!
Glad it wasnt just me that was bored. We need something/someone to liven it up a bit Send Marc in from big brother he is free. i would pay to see him wind up Jon |

Finding someone who genuinely fancies her will be the real challenge. It was always going to be a challenge anyway as her appearance won't appeal to very many men but the fact viewers now know how desperate she is for a partner means they can pretend they fancy her and it's an easy way to get on the show. Travis worked it to his advantage and as soon as he got in the house he went for Jess. He never had any interest in Lauren really.

Interesting you say that because her appearance is probably above average for a typical British Female

I guess there is the option of:
If a couple is starting to row, they won't necessarily see it through to the bitter end. It could be last chance to ditch if a newbie shows interest although I agree unlikely will still be fun to see if they godown this road or accept defeat. Also let's say Lauren decides to give Ben a shot, Josh then has to couple withPoppy despite seeing nothing there and he might fight for Lauren to couple with him. So we also have the funny situation where only one of them has to get a convincing couple and the other one could win by default and be stuck with someone grumpy and begrudging. I think if they hadn't been set the mission, Josh and Lauren would pair and Ben and Poppywould pair for having no other option. This forces them to work other scenarios or go home. What might have worked better was making the singles choose two of the dinner guests regardless and then set the mission. at least then it would be less of an obvious outcome as Lauren and Josh would have two to choose from as well as the possibility of choosing each other so either 2 or 4 of the newbies would leave |

From that clip I'd say Josh is picking Lauren. Poppy was nodding her head in a disappointed but understanding way at his choice.

Nice to see 'real' women in there. Love the fact that we can see Jess is normal, piling on a few pounds on holiday. She looks good for it too!

I don't like these 2 new ones. Not very interesting at all and they seem really quite nervous and desperate.

Oh dear Cally.
Luis isn't snapping at you because he's 'sexually frustrated' |

Cally is totally lying to herself. As is often the case in controlling/abusive relationships. Sad to watch.

Surely Jess isn't really this naive?
If Naomi was still there he wouldn't be giving her a second thought. |
