How would you have felt if right from the start they let the public in on it, and went to the private room thing and laughed about fooling the others? I would have a lot more respect for them and wouldn't even mind them winning if they'd played it like that, rather than lying and pretending to US as well.

I'm actually glad I can't vote due to having a BlackBerry. As some others have said they are, I would also be in a dilemma who to vote for as I really want Jess to win but don't want Max to walk home with a penny after how he has treated and spoken about Jess. It's a tough one. I wonder if a lot of people feel like me and Jess may lose out on this basis.
I wouldn't mind Lauren winning but think Josh is a plank and doesn't deserve to win so again, same dilemma there. I don't dislike Josh anywhere near as much as I dislike Max though.
Regarding last night's show, Max really is a master manipulator, the way he managed to end up getting Jess to feel sorry for HIM and be worried about whether he was okay was unbelievably frustrating to watch. The way he just showed concern for himself and the public perception of him and Jess was merely an afterthought spoke volumes about his true feelings and conveyed more than a lie detector test ever could.
On another note, I can't believe this show has been on for almost six weeks, where has the time gone?! This may sound sad but I will miss the show.

Bit random and sorry if this has already been mentioned but I've just realised Ex islander Chris was on Take Me Out a few years ago. His hair was a lot longer (big curly afro!) and his date went pretty badly. Seems he doesn't have much luck, haha.

I dislike Josh far more than Max.

At least Max stayed friends with her. Josh was vile as if he'd expected her to disappear after pieing her for Naomi, he was angry that her being upset was affecting everyone's time in the villa. Not to mention the time he was all over her in the kitchen then ran to tell tales about her being after him.
Max has always treated Jess better, when he lied her it was respectful at least.
Last night was a bad show for him but him and Josh both only care about their own feelings, but at least with Max, how Jess is treated is a factor in that. For Josh it's only ever been about him. He's still never said sorry for his shabby treatment of Jess.

This is what I was thinking while watching. No one in the real world has lie detector tests. I don't know anyone who would even think about having someone do one let alone know where to go etc.

it was all set up to oust jess and max by hanging him out to dry and who asked the questions Lady Hannah of the manor. Hannah and John both know that jess and Max are they biggest rivals so anything that could bring either of them down in the publics eye would be their ticket to stardom, cos trust me thats all they are on the show for.
I really do still Think that Max and Jess both have genuine feelinmgs for each other, their chemistry is sizzling and i dont just mean in the bedroom department, and their banter is so hilarious.
Max knows he made a huge mistake dumping jess for Naomi, and he does geuinely regret it.,
I do wish from day one that Max had not tried to "fit in" with the other boys in there just to be accepted, even last night when talking about his night of passion with Jess i think its all bravado and tells them what they want to hear, the same with Jess as she tells the other girls just what they want to hear its how she is perceived.
Wouldnt suprise me if both Max and Jess agreed with each just what to tell the others.
i dont think for one minute that Max would deliberately hurt Jess, i remember last week when it kicked off and he comforted Jess and that was genuine, when he told her not to cry. Maybe from now on Max should just be the real him, funny witty and charming as thats what the public saw him as when he entered the villa, he definitely can see a different side to jess, she too seems very vulnerable despite all her bravado amongst the others. i think he had a right to be so angry last night and i think Jess thought the same too.
i imagine off camera they are just a lovely young couple and i hope their romance blossoms on the outside.
