I didn't want them to win but they don't deserve this treatment, they won fair and square. Cowell was obviously aware of what the act would involve, this rag strikes again.

I do wonder whether this is like the movie The Prestige.

I wonder how many clones have been made of Matisse, and how many have died, falling from a tightrope.

I wonder.

'Angry Simon Cowell', is that a joke? Do they seriously believe Cowell didn't know anything about the stunt dog? They're taking the piss! Of course he did! Every decision about the show goes through him. He's the boss!

I posted in the main scandal thread that media is speculating whether the broadcasting code was broken. People were misled and I think that breaks the broadcasting code.

Except they weren't misled. People saw a dog walk a tightrope and that is exactly what happened.

No they voted for Matisse not the stunt dog. Why did they not come clean about it instead of being deceitful?

Good hopefully she will have to give her prize money back or donate it to an animal charity.

Exactly! That's why the press have made it a front page story. The journos realise ITV and Cowell have got themselves into a pickle!!

Oh dear me, talk about an over-reaction. Yes, maybe Matisse should have reappeared to show everyone that Chase was on the rope but it wasn't as if we didn't know there was another dog involved in the act. Now if it was a guy in a dog suit fair enough but...

It is not an over reaction - WHY DID THEY NOT DISCLOSE THE TRUTH?

Thomas Cook could get their lawyers involved on this one.

No she won't. Even if there has been a breach of the broadcasting rules then it was committed by ITV and not by Jules - they can hardly claim to have been unaware that there were three dogs in the studio all day.

Given that she won fair and square there is nothing that ITV can do to force her to give her prize money to an animal charity. It is up to her what she does with the money.

Because the act wouldn't have worked, you had to believe it was the same dog escaping.

Typical red tops, creating a story out of nothing in order to generate some controversy and sell a few extra thousand rags.

This is pathetic, and all of the people who are whinging about being mislead are pathetic, too.

I agree.. I don't get the uproar over it at all..if the royal baby had been due this weekend or the election this week.. We wouldn't have even heard about it.. Really is a slow news week.

Jules trained the dogs.. Actually even more impressive when she's trained more than one.. All those saying they only voted for Matisse.. You voted for an act where a woman has trained dogs really well..both Jules and the dogs deserve praise

Well it's up to officialdom to decide whether people are being 'pathetic' or not now isn't it?

The problem is that so much of what we see on the show is fake especially during the auditions.

I voted for the act, not the dog. Matisse was maybe the main player as it were but it was a dog act no matter how many dogs were involved in the production. Folk get their knickers in a twist over anything these days. She thanked "her team and all her dogs" at the end. Well done to her for having worked hard training so many dogs.

SC couldn't buy this amount of publicity.

He's not furious.

He is ecstatic.

Not much of a surprise. The Sun are notorious for publishing a load of nonsense.
