This latest development bothers me, Phil is locating a man who he is in no way certain is her father and she has convinced herself of it even though there is little evidence? really? Definite red herring did't you see that fish swim?

They really do insist on making Sharon a complete moron when Phil's around - he stole her business and she announces 'I'm leaving you but only after I find my real dad' so he pretends he's found him and suddenly Sharon's forgotten the fact he lied, cheated and stole her business out from underneath her. It's ridiculous to believe that she's that stupid.

Evidently she is not.
