Yep, it's that time of the year again. Mysterious Badge has appeared on the Badges page, which means that the Sale is coming soon™.

What are you hoping to see this year? Any wild predictions?

I'd be happy with 50% off Episode 2 of The Detail. After buying Audiosurf 2, I think i'm done for the rest of the year.

I'm also going to make a prediction and say GTAV will be 50% off.

Was just about to post about this! Heard some talk of June 11th being the start date last week, suppose it could be accurate based on these cards appearing.

South Park: The Stick of Truth @ 75% off would be nice, it's hit 66% before and I haven't taken the plunge yet.

Other than that I don't know what I'm looking for, might well get tempted into spending money I wasn't planning on spending as is usual with these sales.

The last one was disappointing but with 25 games on my wishlist I'm fairly stoked tbh

Will it end in disappointment again??

Looks most likely. I've started selling my Market items before they fall off a cliff in price, always good to bring in a couple of games by themselves.

Spoiler

Not long to go now.

Got a few more things in my sights since last week, all older stuff.

There's a number of older RPGs on Steam made by Spiderweb Software, (Avernum series, Geneforge games etc.) and they do a complete pack of all of their games for £29.99. It's not unusal to find one of the games on 80% discount in the weeklong deals, but they don't often put the pack on sale. If the pack goes 75% or more I'll give it some serious thought.

GOG.com has their summer sale on right now too (some nice deals btw, worth checking out), and there's a couple of games that are available on both GOG and Steam that I'd quite like. Going to see who has them cheapest.

Finger crossed Elite will get a discount. I want to play that game but I've been put off by the £40 price tag.

I hope Homeworld: Remastered is on there too.

Nice work.

For some reason people have started buying my TF2 crates after about 2 years of them sitting there. It's abit odd.

Can only guess that there might have been a rumour going around saying that opening them during the sale would see the opener get some special goodies.

Now we've started I'm a bit disappointed not to see the voting on flash sales as per past sales. Well, it's not the voting I'm missing, it's the free cards for voting.

No flash sales with cards; sucks almost as much as that horrendous 'free game'... I don't want to come across as disillusioned and bitter but if it quacks like a duck etc. etc...

You get free cards playing the game. I haven't played it yet, i'm still laughing at Oculus.

Hoping for some more good deals this year. Spent way too much money last year on the sale. Hoping GTA V will get a bit lower in price, lol. Probably not though, since it's still pretty new out. Might get NBA 2k15.

Also, my finger hurts after playing that game they got on there for the summer sale. So.Much.Clicking.

Do you have to be actively playing to get cards? I see your score etc. continues to grow if close the game.

Also, I just discovered auto-clickers.

GTAV has actually increased in price. Just because Rockstar loves PC Gamers, they want you to save money.

Also you don't need to play it constantly, just play it once then check on it every once in a while and buy upgrades with the coins.

You probably have to played alittle. As I say above, you don't need to do the clicking, just upgrade and change lanes to fight the boss/gain gold.

I got two cards after beating level 10.

Level 20 seems pretty impossible, lol. Unless everyone uses that tactical nuke ability, the enemies respawn a lot faster than you can kill them! It's pretty insane.

Picked up a racing game (Toy Car Turbo from Codemasters - Micro Machines in vibe) and Sir, You Are Being Hunted.

Looked at the new Binding of Isaac but unsure I can be bothered ploughing loads of time into a game where I suspect I will get nowhere

Whoa! So glad I didn't buy NBA 2k15 when it was 50% off! Now it's 75% off! XD

10% off Witcher 3 also. Not too bad considering it was only released last month. May pick it up if I can't find anything else before the sale ends.

Been shopping in the bargain basement so far - well, they might not be bargains if they're rubbish, but they're cheap!

Bought Nidhogg, Oddworld Abes Exodus, Orbit HD, Scribble Space, Brilliant Bob, Seal Team 12, Bloody Trapland and Despair. At £1.09 Nidhogg was the priciest of the lot.
