Be careful of some of the so called "discounts" as some of the bigger names have infact Increased their prices just before the sales started.. its not really a new trend but this year has really become noticable.
For the sake of example you are actually paying more for a discounted GTA5 than you would had done before the sale started, because the studio put prices up at the last minute Bargain bin is deffo worth a look though

You can get refunds now, as long as you've played it for less than 2 hours.

![]() Bought Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and regretting it already ![]() I picked up middle earth : shadow of mordor for £12 from a competitor that has had the offer going for a month or so now. Thats for everything (theres ALOT of DLC) not to mention the keys worked on steam If I had waited for a special and gone the steam route, like this weekend.. I'd be paying £15 for the base game alone, and another £20 for the extra content.. made all the more shocking by being after having a 50% discount applied Point is.. wether you are a more mature gamer with little time to game and maybe happy to sit/wait for prices to come down, or constricted by a budget, perhaps even both... always use your noodle and shop around |

A coupld of buys today - Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and the charity DLC for This War of Mine. I don't often like multiplayer only games, but Chivalry looks fun to me, different too because of a lack of guns.

Thankfully, I've only bought one game so far this sale. Nothing much else catching my eye.

yep pretty slow here. Picked up outlast,Metro Last Light and FNAF for a mighty total of £8.23.
Missed Tesla Effect when it was on 75% off but I'm sure it will pop up again later. Might grab FM2015, and one of the resident evils . Tempted by Dead Space but already got bought 3 horror games this month. Disappointed with the lack of discount on GTA5 |

Been buying more here and there, again though, they're all cheaper buys for less-famous or older titles. Still yet to get any recent-ish AAA headline-grabbing game.
Picked up Tomb Raider Underworld to complete the set of TR games (unless we're counting Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris), Apotheon and J.U.L.I.A. Among The Stars. |

Only bought one game so far on a Flash Sale. Otherwise, nothing says "Buy Me!" as I've already got most of the ones I really like

I'm so tempted to buy South Park: The Stick of Truth but it hasn't been in the daily/flash yet (has it?) and it may end up there one day in the sale. Will they refund me the difference if I buy it now at 40% off and it goes down cheaper during the sale? xD

I've only just really discovered Steam so this is my first sale and i've been trying to catch up on some of the games i've missed over the years due to having a crappy computer. Picked up a GTA bundle (3, VC and SA), Bully, Dead Space 2, Tomb Raider, Mirror's Edge, Hitman: Blood Money, Deadly Premonition, Hotline Miami and Far Cry 3 so far.
I'm hoping for South Park as well, and i'm guessing there'll be a Fallout/Elder Scrolls sale at some point which'll probably prove too tempting. I've been playing Skyrim lately but i'd love to try Morrowind again. Can't for the life of me get Deadly Premonition to even start though. Don't suppose anyone's had any luck getting it working? I could get a refund but it was only 2 quid, hardly seems worth it. It looks like something i'd enjoy anyway. |

Hey finkly, welcome! Deadly Premonition is known as one of the worst PC ports, here is a thread to get it 'working': http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthre...ly+premonition If you can't then you can always get a refund on the game.

Hey thanks. Wow, DP sounds like a real minefield of potential bugs! I'll have a go at the weekend but it sounds like it might be more trouble than it's worth.
