I was too skint to really take advantage this time so I've mostly been hoovering up super-cheap indies, but I've had Spelunky, Castle Crashers and The Banner Saga, and I did manage to stretch to Ground Zeroes and AC4 (there's indisputably far too much Assassin's f***ing Creed in the world these days and they're really milking it and ruining all its charm, but PIRATES).

Uplay sucks, for sure. But it's no GFWL, and I put up with that shit (albeit grudgingly), so...

The sale is over, I ended up with Polarity, A Story About My Uncle, Shadowrun-Dragonfall Director's Cut and The Fall. A nice mix of short and long games to keep me tied over. The biggest purchase I made during the sale was a Bundlestars bundle with Pool Nation and Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. I was sceptical about Pool Nation but it's a pretty good game with a great range of tracks in the soundtrack.

Picked up Prison Architect for 85% off today, it's really addictive and has much more depth than I thought, I'm really happy with the £3 spent

Sales seem obsolete nowadays with key websites selling at reduced prices all year round. There just isnt much to get excited about. Picked up the new batman game for £15 last night. I did buy battleblock thatre and payday 2 mind but its not like it was where it was genuinely exciting to see big reductions

Can I just say, the abbreviation for Maryland is MD not M.D. The latter reads like you are living in Doctor Baltimore.

Autumn/Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday all in one sale is supposedly incoming in about 45 minutes.
Should be some good bargains to be had. If it's anything like the last couple of years then the same games will be on sale at the same prices in the winter sale which itself will only be about 3 or 4 weeks away. So even if it not getting anything now it should give a good price reference for the winter sale and a little extra time to save those pennies! |

I'm hoping for some good Skylake bundles can tempt me, I'm looking to make the move to intel CPU very soon.
I will grab Fallout 4 again if on a decent sale after refunding it, I never gave it a chance because of the 2 hour limit. |

I bought a steam controller a few days ago. Tried to buy far cry 4 for £15 and somehow a second steam controller ended up in the cart without me noticing ( i certainly didnt add it myself). Thats £62 total, still havent received a reply from steam about issuing a refund.

. Still not replied to the support refund request. Steam customer service is shockingly bad for such a huge, rich company

Got Elite Dangerous this morning- cracking game, and I'm still playing the combat tutorials. Really does feel like Elite, which makes me feel like a kid again. Marvellous.

The Horizons expansion is out in a few days (15th?), so it's unlikely to be discounted. The expansion will include the original game though.
