You couldn't make it up. It's like having Radio One's Mr Angry back again!

Your not going mad don't worry! The poster didn't vote at all! In another thread he/she wrote this! And it was long before the second dog was revealed!

I don't think she should be stripped of the win.

I would have just felt more comfortable if they had revealed at the time that another dog was used for the tightrope stunt.

Who exactly do you think the police should investigate?

Let's waste millions of tax payers money investigating a dog on a rope. Then we can all have another moan about wasting police time and our taxes going up. If you honestly, genuinely think this is a police matter then you need to seek help, you're living in cloud cookoo land with zero sense of reality or perspective. So you're absolutely happy with your tax payers money going towards investigating a dog on a rope whilst actual real crimes don't have enough man power on them? Is that honestly what you're thinking? Because if so you're an even bigger twit than you seem.

You did know it was two dogs. Three in fact. Because we saw Chase in the semi finals.

The producers of the show and head honcho Cowell will have know exactly how many dogs were involved. And who did what trick. Jules didn't sneak Chase in in her pocket and hide him before and after. Unless of course you think she can use magic too. Which given your mentality is entirely possible.

So do we investigate the producers then and Cowell? Because anyone who thinks Jules (and all the other contestants ) wasn't just doing exactly as told is a fool beyond my comprehension. The producers, show runners and Cowell knew exactly how many dogs there were. Had anyone wanted it hidden Jules wouldn't have mentioned it on TV and the dog wouldn't have been wearing a collar with his name on. We wouldn't be having this thread because we would all be non the wiser. It's so glaringly obvious it wasn't a deception. And if Simon says he knew nothing about it it's yet more proof that he treats the public as a whole, like easily manipulated idiots. Mind you, reading these threads I can 100% understand why he has that impression.

I truly hope if Jules suffers any sort of ramifications because pedantic idiots such as yourself with no life and nothing better to do can't get it into their head that she trained all dogs and hid nothing, that she sues the ever loving crap out of the show, it's producers and Cowell and walks away with a lot more than 250k.

People never cease to amaze me. And I don't mean that in a positive way. Reading the plethora of posts about this I am genuinely astounded at how little perspective some people have. And how sad some people are. Amazing.

It is remarkable. There are several posters currently claiming to have been defrauded, when it is highly improbable that any of them would have voted for the "offending" act.

Perhaps they spent a fortune voting for their preferred act, and hope that this might be a chance to get their losing bets back!

It's astonishing isn't it. Like actually mind boggling.

How some people have managed to survive life with such a massively skewed sense of perspective is truly astonishing.

I'm genuinely astounded.

If God forbid (and I wouldn't wish it on anyone I'm simply using it as an example) the person who posted that is ever mugged, or burgled or has their car stolen I assume they'd be 100% okay with the police informing them they couldn't attend and investigate because they had no officers available due to them investigating a dog on a tightrope for fraud. Because if they wouldn't they perhaps they can now see what an utterly ridiculous comment that was.

But it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they would in fact be absolutely fine with that.

The dog didn't win - the winner was the lady who trained him (and all her other dogs), and the money is in HER bank account - not the dogs!

There is no way that the production team, the judges and all the other competitors were unaware that Matisse wasn't the dog on the tightrope..... They will have rehearsed the routine several times during the weekend and a dog Chase's size would be difficult to hide in that environment.

That being so - any deception/ error was down to the producers, and not Jules herself.

She trained all the dogs to do their tricks and agility moves and therefore she is the worthy winner - especially over a heavy handed "magician"

The talent is the human training and controlling the dogs, and putting together the routine. That person was Jules.

No "dog" can ever win BGT.

Pudsey didnt win. Ashley did.

The only confusion could be in the name of the act, but the name of the act doesnt mean anything.

Other acts had other human help.

Most dancers had backing dancers.
Most singers had a backing track and backing singers
The magicians had stage hands, sometimes doing all the "magic"

Jules trained all three dogs herself, and performed the routine live on stage. THAT is the talent right there.”

Well I heard Jules borrowed a bag off Doctor Who. It was bigger on the inside obviously.

She hid Chase inside it and away from all producers and left the bag on the ledge by the tight rope, trained Chase to run out of the bag upon hearing the fake glass smashing. Out he runs, over the rope, then she created a diversion (a trick she learned off Jamie Raven) whilst Chase ran back across the ropes and back into the Tardis bag and nobody was any the wiser Chase has been there. She then repeatedly told everyone is was Matisse who walked the ropes.

It was only that crafty Lorraine on morning TV, with her eagle eyes who is I believe a trained detective (trained by Sherlock) that got the truth out of her.

That's what I heard anyway. And I believe it to be 100% true.*

*Everything before this was bull, but Inkeeping with the ridiculous threads.

It's going to be a tough decision as to whether Jules and Matisse is a dish that should be set before our Queen.

If I was the Queen I would much rather watch Jules and Matisse than most of the god awful 'singers' they put on the RVP. Indeed the only reason I will actually bother watching it is for Jules and Matisse.

Thing is, no one actually saw or noticed the dog switch thing but quite a few audience members noticed how the magician guy was doing his tricks!

Apparently, there's been hundreds of complaints to Ofcom and ITV over the 'faux Matiisse' on the high ropes. It's all over the news too: https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl...+chase&tbm=nws

This! She could of used 10 dogs in the act for all I care just as long as we knew about it at the time.

Perhaps you could tell us which of those news reports mention complaints to Ofcom about the dogs?

I 100% agree.

I don't know how, or even if we, as a county will be able to move passed this. My heart is breaking for us all.

I think we need to all rally together, if we can all be supportive we may, one day in the distant future be able to get back on our collective feet.

I won't lie, there's dark days ahead for the UK after this. But don't give up. We can get through it.

it's not just a skewed perspective, it's a bloated sense of entitlement.

this debate in the papers, web and this forum has certainly illustrated a sad tendency of the GBP to believe that their butthurt over a few pence spent seems to be far out of proportion to any reason or common sense.
