I think that she'll be pregnant with Declan's baby - which is why it shocks Megan and Jai - but she'll try to pass it off as Cain's or Moria will think it's Cain's so it'll effect them too. Don't know though?

I think she has repented of all of her sins and is entering a convent.
Well it is no dafter than the situation they will come up with is it? |

I had no idea people hated Charity so much! I think it's been good to rest the character after the year she had last year, but I honestly think she's fabulous. Every soap needs an amazing bitch, and I actually like how completely hard as nails she can be, without being a cartoon.
I think the problem is, whether you enjoy watching her or not, she's one of the few Emmerdale characters to break out and be known outside Emmerdale. So they're bound to want to use her while they've got her. Anyway, I hope she comes back with a cracking story. I'll be as disappointed as anyone if it isn't a real blinder after this.

Yeah you're probably right, I want to see Charity back on top though, She needs to fall into some money and reclaim Home Farm for herself

I loved her at Home Farm, but there is a family there now, so cannot see her being back. I do hope a new rich man comes on the show for Charity though.

Exactly. Even if you like Charity, or not. Emma Atkins is a brilliant actress . Emmerdale needs these kind of quality actresses on the show. Digital Spy is the minority though. It does not speak for everyone in the whole country.
![]() Sorry but I may have to report you for not toeing the party line here. ![]() And yes Mark - they say Charity begins at home. In her case it's just a matter of whose home she targets.

Maybe Charity will have a serious health problem? Emmerdale can spend even more time in hospital then

Yes, one of the few times I have rooted for the villain to do the deed. I was shouting kill kill her NOW. Declan had a mighty big chopper I was hoping he would cut off the witch's head!

I could see that happening (or more likely she claims to have a serious health problem)...

![]() When Robbie jumped in front of the flare I was like WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? For 2 reasons. 1. Robbie was dead and he was my favourite. ![]() ![]() ![]() 2. Charity was still alive.

But if she does, it could turn out to be a ruse. Or not.

Charity is heartless enough to claim that she's dying and it not be true though. But does that actually do anything for people in prison in terms of reducing their sentence? Or is she gonna fake her death to get out of there?

![]() Anyway, if they think she's really only got weeks/months to go, they might release her to die with her family. Somehow I don't think she'd get away with holding her breath and being taken out in a box.

I think you can get compassionate release, can't you? I remember they let this bent businessman Ernest Saunders out of prison years ago because he lied his ass off and pretended to have Alzheimers. Turned out to be poppycock.

Suspension of disbelief required for whatever they come up with to get Charity out of prison. |

Surely they would examine her and find nothing wrong - faking a deathly illness is not exactly easy to do nowadays.

Why would she go through all the effort of faking a deadly illness anyway though? It's not like she got given a life sentence. All she has to do is keep her nose clean and she'll be out in the New Year.
Here's hoping for something that isn't too far-fetched, but then it is Charity.
