Can anyone recommend any? I was born and bred in London, but eating in China Town is something I always find difficult as never know where to try. About a year ago we tried a buffet just up from Ku Bar but it was absolutely horrific. There's so many Chinese restaurants though so I think it's just a case of knowing which to go to. Anyone have any recommendations? Wouldn't mind a decent buffet, but don't really mind

Nice food and the interior is rather authentic

and New Fook Lam Moon is good too

There is a decent one in China town opposite Q Park on the corner of a street junction (end of road),

The Golden Dragon's really good, I always go there. Also Tokyo Diner is good value for money; you can supersize your bowl for free.

Also if you want to push the boat a bit, I highly recommend The Gay Bar. Some of my colleagues have been there before and had a blast (and of course you don't need to be gay to go there). I'd suggest checking it out for some food and drinks.

Ba Shan on Romilly Street. It's mostly spicy stuff (Hunanese) but if you can tolerate a bit of spice you'll love it. Have the spicy chicken slivers.
