I hope she takes down Phil after this. A joke that she would put up with so much from him

So refreshing to see her with some spark back. I wish she'd taken him down last year but cest la vie.

One of Sharon's best episodes since her return. Fabulous!

Perhaps TPTB read this forum sometimes?

I hope she utterly destroys the repugnant, lying old thug.

It's about bloody time - I think that all of the mentions of Den were no accident - the last of the Watts is finally back.

I really loved that Duff Duff!

What's worse is that Phil actually thought he could outsmart Sharon. When it comes to Mitchells vs Watts, the Watts always come out on top.

Same here. I have really low expectations after that utter farce last year but I'll enjoy the moment while it lasts.

Sharon is the only reason I'm watching right now, it's great to see her getting back to her best. I know Alex Lamb is meant to be a big Sharon fan and I think we're finally starting to see evidence of that on screen. Long may it last.

Very true.

But with Vincent making a fool of him and now Sharon perhaps the TPTB are finally realising that most people are so tired of watching preposterous 'owning' storylines involving the King of Philth.

Going offline for a bit now but I just had to comment on the return of Sharon WATTS at long last.

I know this will piss off the Carter fanatics but Sharon needs The Vic back after all this. That is really where she needs to be.

I'd love that, but the problem is I don't think the Carters would work without The Vic, especially Mick and they're not going to do anything that would cause Danny Dyer to walk.

She doesn't need the Vic back imo. She's good in the Albert. Her and vincent will be interesting aswell.

Hopefully it continues.

I must admit there was a bit of the old Watts sparkle back tonight. When are they going to realise that this is what makes Shazza work, rather than being a down-at-heel loser bossed around by Phil?

I would like that but even if they're not going to do that it would be nice to see more of her in the Albert or bring back Angie's Den.

Sharon really needs to split up from Phil. I want to celebrate but we all know Sharon will forgive Phil

Sharon simply doesn't work as Phil's doormat. The REAL Sharon only comes alive in stories like this, the last time we saw it was the summer of 2014 when she planned to screw him over. I'm not totally opposed to keeping Sharon and Phil together but only if they are equals and only after she has taught him a lesson.

More of this Sharon, please.

Absolutely. There is something about the two characters that doesn't work well as a fully functioning couple, only either as secret lovers or feuding enemies. They certainly have a lot of chemistry, but not in this context - unfortunately Phil just over-powers Shaz, which is very uncomfortable to watch.

I should also add that Letitia Dean does not do 'drudge' well, so it is a mystery why the writers keep scripting her that way. Play to her strengths and have her queening it like the glory years:

Exactly. Letitia shines when Sharon is in full-on, camp, pouty, drama-queen mode. She is not made to be a housewife.

That clip is fabulous too. Peggy vs Sharon was TV gold.
